Nemanja Bjelica should take his chances at a finals run this year and then come back to Europe. He still got a couple years of great basketball if he's back in the Euroleague instead of being a role player in the NBA.

Living in Barcelona, being the leader of the team and taking care of his family. That's life. Wise decision of Niko.

Leaving 3yrs for 45million is not wise if you continue to play basketball afterwards. He could of played those 3seasons. Quit nba and went back to spain to play.

@@fliprodriguez5250 I think after a while, you wouldn’t have time to spend the excess millions. It’s hard being rich. When you have everything money can buy, it’s time to think about your priorities. Nico made what is best for him. Being 10mil richer while having a broken family isn’t worth it. I’m assuming you are single and materialistic at the moment. 😂

As a Jazz fan I was really excited that he might come to my team, seemed like a really good fit. I was disappointed and a bit discouraged when he chose Europe over Utah, but can't hate on him for doing what's best for his family. Hope it continues to go well for him.

Which led to us sign Bogey instead
@tripzero02 жыл бұрын
He would have filled Bogey's role, which is nearly 20ppg. He wouldn't be in the MVP race though... I guess?

His second reason is also very important. We tend to ignore that most players can produce way more than they actually do if the coach gives them a chance. Some coaches won't do it because they already have other guy who can do it or just because they don't like you or your style. It's something that happens since primary school. Where you can be the 3p kid, and that's all... if you do something else that is not shooting a 3p you go back to the bench.
