TBH, everyone is focussed on communication more than coding because why hire a 10yoe when you can get 2 mediums. Also companies today are boasting about the no-feedback policy. The hypocrisy is when they use ATS to filter resume it's okay, but they go up in arms when candidates use gpt. It's not the tester but HR or people partner who are actually the enemy.
