I'm a Klee main, half of my friend group became Klee mains ever since her rerun banner, Klee is awesome and strong and we do every content in the game with her with ease. "No one" plays Klee, my ass.

@@zippo718 once a character is out of beta mihoyo is practically done with that character. Expecting a buff/fix after an year is just wishful thinking. The only time they did was with zhongli because he was thoma level of mediocre for a 5* geo archon What mihoyo does is indirect buffs in the form of artifacts/weapons/characters like the new artifact set for geo characters I personally see klee as a great pyro applicator like childe so if we get a new xiangling type hydro or cryo character klee will probably rise up in meta

I don't play Klee not because of her game play. Its because the VA did too good of a job portraying an innocent child. When someone like Beidou gets hit, she grunts, gets up and say "Not bad" or "Haven't won yet." When Klee gets hit, she cries abit or says "that hurts." My heart can't take it.

Why I play Klee: she gives big numbers, her animation cancels feel satisfying to achieve, and I have to focus because I get punished if I mess up. So I get why most people don't play Klee but she achieves a niche that no other character other than HuTao imo fills which is satisfying mechanical gameplay.

Same been playing her since her original banner I got on her rather decent crimson witch set with Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds with crit rate crit damage at 64/150 and 90% pyro bonus dmg her overall base atk total is 2113 so she hits like a truck while also being fun to play

@@kozukihiyori3387 Thats why I mentioned Hu Tao. As someone with both though, personally I think Klee feels more intricate than Hu Tao who, once you get the timing right, is still pretty simple. Klee also has less downtime

The biggest reason I stopped using Klee regularly: a lot of the short-range and stamina mechanics can be played around (I got good at jump canceling charges and step canceling autos), but a lot of the new enemies have dash attacks that go well out of your range that you can't compensate for at all, and it looks like this is going to be a staple for enemy design from now on. She has some encounters where she really shines, like the multiple ruin construct boss, but it feels like everything just runs away from you at the drop of a hat now. Even Childe tended to spam dashes when I fought him with Klee. (Which even happens at 1:08.) Generally character changes won't happen, so I try to think about what kind of unit would enable others better, as well as enemy mechanics. Anything that could CC or prevent units from moving back would help a lot. Sucrose is great for stuff like this, but doesn't cluster units close enough for klee to reliably hit them. If they also made it so knockback depended on the way you were facing instead of just away from you, it'd prevent enemies from being scattered as bad with a charge attack.

That's my main gripes with every new single enemy update mihoyo has been making: -they create a new character meta ( Zhong li shield meta for example). -then they create a enemy that needs you to use that meta ( Geovishap, Azdaha, etc) -New update new characters meta -and now new enemies that simply ignore the previous meta ( stupid wolfies). At the end of the day the only thing that survives is the same overpowered 4 stars characters that we had since the beginning. IDK sometimes this design update just makes me a little tired, specially with how many caveats every new single char has.

@@Tururu134 well tbf his charged attack animation do hit the stupid hitboxes they have when charging, but I would only recommend him against the Geo ones. And anything that resists Geo is already a Itto counter, still a fun character though.

Wow, I already knew you're a Genshin player months ago but i didn't expect you play Klee regularly. Since you did stop playing Klee regularly, do you think Yanfei is a good alternative or she's worse? I found enjoying her more than Klee because of range coverage and playing her with Mona and Ei made her more satisfying. Granted, I don't have klee but ever since i saw her problems immediately at her first banner run on her trial stage, I didn't roll for her despite being a loveable character.

Just use Shimenawa. Her burst isn't needed anyway. Sure, it provides a decent additional DPS, but your main damage comes from her auto hits.

Klee was my first five star, I got her early in the game because I LOVED her character. But because she’s been my main dps for so long, I am so used to her slower play style with more numbers, that I find it hard to use a lot of other characters, especially sword users. The only sword user I have built is Bennett, and that was only because everyone loves him. I’ve adapted to the knock back and struggle when enemies are consistently close to me, because I use the knock back as a way to dodge (squishy Klee) and to push enemies to where I want them, and then ult.

I really love Klee but with a lot of people saying that her gameplay is clunky, I doubted her for a while back then. But then I realized that the most important thing for me is to enjoy the game with the characters I like so I decided to save up for her next rerun :D Now I’m at 18k primos saving to 24k for a guaranteed Klee Edit: I lost 50/50 to Diluc 🗿 but I still got her anyway with 76 pity ;-;

Just a quick note, Kokomi's basic atacks are more like Yanfei's than Barbara or Mona because she attacks with water fishes that act like proyectiles. Awesome video nontheless!

Yeah , Yanfei , Ningguang and Kokomi sends projectiles which I think are far more superior than teleported shots like Mona , Barbara or Sucrose because if an enemy dashes , your projectiles (if are locked on the enemy) can just simply change direction and hit them (saw that A LOT while fighting the Thunder Manifestation on Amakumo Peak

@@thelaw11 Honestly, my favorite part of Yanfei’s basic attacks. I was fighting one of those random little flies(can’t remember their names for the life of me), and even though it kept moving around, the fireball stayed locked on and hit it anyway, no matter how much it moved. So cool to watch.

I got Klee on accident at two pity on a 50/50 while trying to build pity for Kazuha. At first I was so upset because I just hated her kit, but the more I used and raised her, the more she grew on me, and now she’s one of my favorite DPS characters. It goes to show that sometimes characters have their issues, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be a good character for you, personally.

I don't understand why people build pities, just save your primos until the banner of the character you desire comes out and then dump all your primos in, the only 2 reason I can see why anyone would build their pity on a banner they DON'T want is 1) They want the 4 stars in the banner, not the 5 star or 2) They just want to do the 50 wish BP mission which I find hard to believe

@@IceeFish Exactly. As a F2P, ain't no way I'm burning primos just to build pity. Last time, i saved up 14,000 primos to bring Ganyu home and i used 8,000 of those to get her. Best 8,000 I've ever spent. Got Ganyu, beidou, xingqiu, and C1 yanfei (and C1 xinyan, but who really cares about her)

So I had Klee when she first came out and I completely agree. Klee is just mechanically difficult to play. Learning how to animation cancel and having to manage your stamina to charge attack while dashing away from enemies when they’re too close can be a struggle to some. Also having one of the lowest hp in the game doesn’t help. If you want Klee I highly recommend having a shield to make her easier to play. To how I would change her, it would be her range and burst. Her range can be better, maybe 5-10 meters more. And I agree with you on how the burst should stay up even when swapping out. That would mean her c4 should get a rework. idk my opinion

If her ult stays after swapping she would be kicked out of the dps role and people would start using her as an off-field sub dps. I personally would do that. To make Klee relevant again they need to give her a signature artifact set and work on her clunkiness. I agree with increasing her range , she's basically a melee mage right now.

So as someone who has had Klee since her initial rerun, I will say that she has issues. She’s very squishy, she can only do pyro dmg, and she has somewhat mediocre range. However, most of this can be made up, especially since Klee isn’t gonna be the only character in your party. Klee’s passive makes it so she doesn’t consume stamina for her charge attacks whenever she gets a clover, and her cancels can make it so she can not only attack, but also move at the same time. In terms of teammates, Raiden, Kazuha, Zhongli, Albedo, and Xingqiu, and a few others can work wonders with Klee. Raiden’s Skill means Klee’s burst gets an extra overloaded hit every time you aren’t on cool down, Kazuha provides and elemental dmg bonus by swirling the bombs, Zhongli is just a good shield, and Xingqiu helps with vaporize when Klee uses her normals. I think the main issue of why people play Klee less is because of the fact that Hu Tao exists. Hu Tao not only can do way more dmg, but also has the edition of being able to do phys, which means unlike Klee who can’t dmg the pyro hypostasis Hu Tao can. Honestly it’s just a matter dmg and good team set up. Also Klee’s cancels are super easy to learn, and once you learn it for her, you can basically do it for every character that needs it, also Klee mostly uses walk cancels not jump or sprint cancels. Also the only truly bad thing about Klee is her splash art, like give her a better one, it’s literally a 4 Star’s

You say that Klee's cancels allows you to do cancels on other characters, but then go on to say that she uses walk cancels. When literally no meta character (that I know of I apologise greatly if there is) uses walk cancels. Typically it's jump or dash cancels...

Literally no one other than Klee or Ning use cancels, everyone else you mostly use their skills or you just do their regular combo, Klee does more dmg with her first attack and for Ning it’s just faster with cancels. You are totally right that other characters use dash or jump, but most aren’t catalysts. Catalysts just be built different

I'm just pointing out the inconsistencies in your original comment.

I'm really hoping Alice will work well together with Klee and make her a more comfortable character to use to be honest. Tho I think she will probably also be a main DPS. But it would be interesting if they worked well to support each other, like if they were both a mix of main and sub DPS and support the way Klee is, maybe that would make her better

As a Klee main, I think Klee is a good character and fun to play. And for me she does tons of damage, for example whenever I do her charged attack it does 20k or a bit more dmg without cryo or hydro. I’m not saying Klee has no problems, she is sometimes clunky, stamina consuming, and not that fast. But in my opinion she is a great and fun to play character that does tons of damage and no hate to other mains. :) oh by the way I main ganyu too and they both support eachother.

i get that- i love her personality + character design/animation- but that’s not what makes her unenjoyable to play for so many people. her attack animations are clunky and slow to deal damage, her range is very small for a catalyst user, and it’s pretty annoying (at least for me) to be forced to animation cancel over and over to get the smooth results i expect out of the gameplay and characters- uninterrupted by anything other than enemies in game. personally, it really takes away from the experience when i have to constantly focus on unnecessarily precise timing with klee instead of just having fun.

I have a c0 Klee and a c6 Yanfei, I've stopped playing Klee not because of difficulty, but because she drains tons of stamina even if you jump cancel, she throws enemies away from you, she has and short range, and her dash is also very short because of her size Meanwhile Yanfei can attack enemies from miles away while she gives herself a shield and her charge attacks can have the stamina cost reduced much more and much more consistently than Klee's

I tried hard to get into Klee's playstyle since she was my second ever 5 star (I wasn't pulling for her but eh). But the way her normal and charged attacks worked drove me crazy. The lock on seemed to rarely work correctly and it was immensely slow. At the time, my only other catalyst user was Lisa, so I had initially thought all catalyst users would have at least similar range. Klee proved that assumption very, very wrong. Then there's the stamina issues, the inherent slowness of "tiny" characters, and my admittedly general dislike of children characters in the first place (Kind of hilarious really. The *only* "child" character I wanted was Diona, and Mihoyo saw it fit to give me literally all of them. sigh) Yes, she had the damage output, but no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't get around all the downsides. She just didn't fit my playstyle. Of course, the second I heard Yanfei was coming, I immediately hopped on her bandwagon. I enjoy her playstyle *ALOT* more. She's my go-to ranged pyro specialist.

Yes, but I believe that it is inevitable that some 5 stars and a lot of main dps 4 stars will get overshadowed by new characters. Genshin will have over 80 characters and even more by the time all the nations are released. It would be very hard to make sure every character is popular

I absolutely adore Klee. I use her in domains and for exploration mostly. She is pretty clunky but you get used to it. She hits like a truck once you get a good artifact set on her and a good 5 star catalyst. I use Yanfei and Ningguang alot as well. I think only Sayu and Diona can rival the adorableness that is Klee. No regrets pulling on her first banner. I love all the goofy noises she makes.

Man I love Klee she was my first 5 star and I still main her but there are a lot of problems with her gameplay. This doesn't take my joy away from playing her but I do wish she would get a little boost or something. But I doubt it ... Its sad that Mihoyo is not evolving old characters and are mainly making new power houses every banner :/

As someone with Klee, I have to say...she's an absolute joy to play with. She is a lot of fun once you get used to how she plays and that's part of the problem. If you can get her early game, that will get you used to her strengths and limitations. But if you get her after reaching a high AR, it can be frustrating to try to learn her and most end up ditching her for someone easier to use immediately off the bat. She is definitely someone who benefits from the right support and definitely not someone you use by herself (despite her lore suggesting her being able to take down a certain tanky world boss all by herself). She's fine as is as any tweaks to her could easily put her into "broken" territory. All that said, everything mentioned in the video are valid complaints and anyone interested in rolling for her in any future banners should carefully consider their own gaming abilities before rolling for her.

Klee was my first 5-star and my main dps for 3 months. I was using her from AR 20 to AR 50. At start she was fun to play. Silly hilichurls just run to you, do nothing for a while and get obliterated by Klee charged attacks. You can cancel her CA animation by her CA! Basically, you can achive almonst the same attack speed as her normal attacks! But later enemies became smarter. You can't stay at one place and hold/release one button to CA. Now you have to run to enemies. There were geo wheels which run everywhere. Then there was Childe, who jumps from place to place. And now there is Inazuma, where every enemy jumps around and you have to run to them and try to charge attack them 2 times before they jump to different location, because you have to wait 1 whole second before charged attack is applied. It was pain. I pulled for Hutao this october. Now I'm happy

@@SeresHotes25 I overcome this by pairing Klee with Keqing. Enemy steps back, Keqing's skill followed by Klee auto/CA. Works surprisingly well and Keqing's attack creates enough distance to avoid potential blowback from overload. Keqing was a no brainer to use for much of Inazuma so it didn't take long for me to put those two together.

Yeah I've been playing for a while not regularly and I've had her for so long she is my 2nd or 3rd 5 star and I'm used to her and she is amazing she hit my highest number and it was 22k

So true. My first 5 star was klee. she is small and because of that she doesn't cover alot of ground. her attack range is med and her charge is unfortunately short. but makes senses since its a beam, and a straight shot could miss, and closer range makes it easier to calculate charge attack. Personally she is still amazing to play, and with Raiden, Zhongli and Kokomi, she is damage overload and invincible. All Catalysts are hard to play mind you. Kokomi, Yanfei and Ning have auto locked projectiles the others just auto splash. Klee's the only one you need to really aim and get close with but thats the charm of her. Only gripe I have is burst ends when she is switched out. Would be great if she could keep it on the field. Especially when I do Kokomi burst, that vaporise damage would be great. Along with Overlord for Raiden Burst.

klee works really well with the og geo duo (albedo & zhongli) as they cover her biggest weaknesses, range and defence. Everyone knows albedo's flower is nigh useless, but klee is likely the first and most important character to step on the flower. People don't know this but klee's range is literally tied to how high she is, the higher she is the further she throws, charged attack as well. Well the shield also helps a lot when you're not on the flower, well cos she squishy.

But with longer distance her attacks are more likely to miss, so you're either trying to hit ranged enemies within the flower AoE, or melee enemies right beneath the flower. Also, large enemies like mitachurls will break the elevator flower(the one that goes up) and prevent it from spawning, so it's either a very niche use, or not very useful in the first place.

In my opinion the thing holding Klee back from being a top tier main dps is the fact that she is a child character and she depends on her charged attack to deal dmg and the reason why this is bad is because child characters use up more stamina and Klee charged attack uses 50 stamina, and her ultimate isn't that useful compared to others and the passive where she doesn't use stamina in her charged is good but I wish it was more noticeable since its just a tiny flower and if you have your ultimate on it is even harder to see if the passive is on and you also have to time her basic atk perfectly to deal the most dmg Sorry my English is not that good And I'm not hating on klee she is my first 5 star

@@NFYT Honestly even that is not a problem for me, being another Klee main. I just always somehow group enemies together then stay close to them. Cancelling through dodge (!), stamina doesn't run out as quickly if I just don't always cancel or use her skill in between and when it runs out I switch to a different character, preferably Kazuha who can then deal loads of damage pulling all enemies back together including all the bombs on the floor. Meanwhile stamina recovers. After that, the other two characters can maybe also put out their skills, whichever they are and Klee is good to go again with loads of stamina.

I personally feel the best description for klee is: An extremely powerful pyro dps that has a lot of clunky mechanics making her hard to use which is why not many players use her. Players that have taken the time to fully master her kit however will almost always say that she is amazing and she is. Really the only problem she has is bad player usability.

Throwing everyone under the bus just because they can't really be arsed to jump through hoops isn't a valid way to justify her. Ease of use is not an invalid issue. If a character is difficult to use, you expect to get a great reward for doing so; So if that reward isn't there, people are gonna try out other characters. She's a character that needs help (all characters do to some degree) but she doesn't have a sub-dps or support that can hold her hand and make her shine the way she deserves. I'd love to see a sub-dps that can apply their effects on every single Klee 'Sparks 'n Splash' attack, or if they let elemental reactions proc more often but deal less damage, to help out characters that are based around these 'death by a thousand cuts' kind of dps. This also applies to Ayaka; No one specifically focuses on her her auto-attacks for damage. Her burst is what people focus on, because the small and flittering attacks don't melt fast enough. She's not underutilized because she's a bad character. Neither is Keqing. The game just doesn't seem built around the way they dps, punishing 'death by a thousand cuts' play styles, meanwhile press Q to win burst effects or large slow chunky attacks just seem to win; See Xiao... or Ganyu... or Hu Tao.

I wanted Klee since day 1 i started to play in 1.3, i simply love her personality, even more than dmg. It is true that overtime her clunkyness became more apparent so she lost spot as a true main dps, and, as my character pool grew, Klee turned into a more situational pick, but the same can be said about any character really... I remember a while ago, we had a event with a mechanical array boss that i struggled with, no metter the party i used, turns out Klee clutched 4 me and it was great! No matter what i will always find situations to use her simply cus she is one of my top 3 fav enven if cluncky... Now that i have a good xinqiu and Daddy Geo Zhongli i will experiment even more with my baby bomber XD

Klee is my only Pyro DPS and I love her, she does a lot of damage and has great burst damage with Widsith. She does need an artifact set that works with her. and her Burst needs to last off-field. Her autos are really not that bad since you should do your N1 then charge, that is the best combo since her charge gets a big buff from her passive.

one of the things that i see as a future indirect buff to klee is the player use of dendro. like the stacking of EM and other things with the shear amount of pyro output is asking for some intense pyro output that can also be stack a bit different just from a theory standpoint from our ingame examples of dendro samachuarls and enveiroments

I got Klee since her initial run and also she is my first 5* char. After training somewhat amount, she is pretty well serviceable. Actually my most biggest single strike dmg was done by Klee since I don't have big bad nukes. However since Inazuma came out, she can't take much space in my party. These Samurai, Dogos, and mostly Specters are so much harder for Klee to hit. Her bombs cannot reach that well. It was unfortunate for Klee. I love her and also her movement are pretty unique and challenging. You will have fun.

Ayaka also has Freeze. So even I put Zhongli on the team, Klee get some troubles. Like I said, dmg not a problem for Klee, but to hit constantly.

I play Klee precisely because of her gameplay (and that she's cute af). Mastering Klee has been the most enjoyable thing for me in this game. I wouldn't even be playing Genshin if not for Klee. Though the fact that the bug regarding her passive for a free charged attack has existed since her release still annoys me. Simple fix to just change it so it "restores" the 50 stamina instead of just making the charge attack free. The fact you can get a free charge and consume it at the same time and still consume stamina as a result is just bad devs.

I mean klee was my first 5 star. Shes level 90 and has a skyward atlas. Shes my main dps. I can understand that shes hard to use. You have to be careful when you’re using her charge attack. Make sure to always jump while doing it, it gives extra dmg. If you built her as a dps like me focus on her charged attack and E and don’t focus a lot on her Q. Her Q is moreof a support ability. Heres some good team comps: -Sucrose,Rosaria,diona(4* so it’s easier to get) -Kazuha,Rosaria,kokomi(5* that are good supports for any team) -Venti(basically any crowd control),Bennet,xingque(meta but helps her do bigger dmg) Klee isn’t really a good overload dmg, its best to focus on vaporize and melt reactions. Artifacts sets , Gladiators and crimson witch /4 piece crimson witch are probably the best sets for good dmg.

I pulled a Klee on her first banner, I agree with almost all observations: the sole exception is her stamina issues, which she has none since one of her passives makes it so that you get a floating clover thingie every so often by normal attacking that is consumed in a charge attack instead of her stamina, similar to Ningguang. Her biggest issue is no doubt the combination of her puny range, bad animations (feel similar to the alternative dash for those that know) and how squishy she is, if 1 or 2 of these didn't exist, she'd feel much better to play and less like you're fighting the game engine. And for Raiden.....her burst still needs to work with Beidou's burst, that is simply utter bullcrap.

I remember how clunky the alternate sprint was before the change in the patch ayaka was released in. They still didnt fix the part where you get stuck if theres a slight elevation difference though which sucks. of course she was. her banner was literally the second banner ever AND it coincided with GI blowing up in the media. there was nothing else to spend money on, ppl didn't have any other characters to compare her to (because even those that pulled for venti realized how meta he is WEEKS after his banner ended). it was a new gacha game, and klee's banner was pretty much the only thing you could pull on at the time (besides the standard banner, because back then ppl still spent their primos on it). yes, she was strong as hell at launch, but the enemies too were much squishier. yes, she's cute, but there are characters that have much more depth to them (even counting the ones that didn't appear in the story much), and klee's character story relies heavily on other characters around her doing smth, because she's still, ultimately, a child. her rerun didn't do much even with ppl thinking kazuha will suck (idk if you were around kazuha leaks era, but the comments were full of ppl saying "I'll pull for him even if he's weak"). essentially, klee did well in a vacuum - as literally any other character would.

Agreed, except I use Klee with Benny, Xiangling, and Kazuha. Investing into a monoteam means you can opt for damage-focused artifacts + weapons across the board because the energy regeneration is so great. Benny's E + Klee's two charges of E and charged attack battery from ascension talent generates so much pyro energy. Also, because there isn't a need to set up reactions, it's super easy to play being forgivable with rotations and less downtime if you screw up any rotations. Additionally, because Klee's ult can snapshot, you can get huge gains from Benny ult and Widsith. What's needed to play this comp optimally is: 1) Have Kazuha swirl pyro, 2) Have enough energy to ult off cooldown, and 3) Snapshot XL and Klee's ults. The team may not have the highest damage ceiling, but has a comfortably high damage floor that's more than enough to 9* abyss 12 (kazuha makes it more meta as well)

Klee is by far my favorite character to play, the animation cancels are incredibly satisfying and machine-gunning her normal attacks is very powerful. It takes a while to get used to playing her but the muscle memory stays with you when you get the hang of it.

Hit the nail on the head, Klee would have worked wonders as a 5 Star Pyro version of Xinqiu. Making her a main DPS is doubly odd since, beside her kit screaming Sub DPS, she was released very early on at a time where we already had another 5 Star Pyro Carry. Pulled for her in 1.6 because she's just adorable, but in hindsight I regret not waiting for Kazuha.

I've been Playing klee long enough to know that she doesn't really need reaction to get the job done, you just ANY proc-on-hit related unit to support her and there we go, albedo, xingqiu, beidou, raiden are all pretty good.. they are not meant to help klee using elemental reaction but rather, simply easier to trigger them to dish out straight up dmg.. she feels like a unit can function as dps if you want to but best play in sub dps position to support another sub dps to proc the element.. weird design

The answer is quite simple of Why No One plays Klee: -She's Monstadt's local terrorist -Destroyer of Fishkind -Ruined Bennett's friendship with Royce with the random explosion she caused mistaking it for a rabbit hole which was Royce's last straw, causing him to part ways with Bennett. Which means she is also Destroyer Of Rabbitkind. I mean I kinda didn't mind fish but rabbits?!? That's where I draw the line g. Do I need to elaborate further on Why No One Plays Her? Klee doesn't apply pyro that fast. She just has icd on every second auto attack like every catalyst user. Can be best seen on Sucrose how it works.

As someone who’s mained Klee for awhile in a team with Kazuha, Raiden, and Zhongli, I was a little surprised to see this video pop up. But when you brought up her range and normal attack, I totally understood. When I used to have Barbara as my main support, she could easily hit the Hilichurl archers on their unclimbable towers with both her normal attack and charged, making things a lot faster and easier for me. But I noticed Klee’s attacks don’t really work the same way. Still, even after I get Itto and Gorou, I will probably still use her often, because the whole reason I wanted her for so long was that I just really liked her character. Her working with Kazuha and Raiden’s skills + Zhongli eliminating squishness in battle was all just a bonus.

One of the reasons I like Klee in my World Map team and my Ruin Serpent team is that she makes mining and breaking shields etc super easy. Irons break in one charged attack and crystals in two. I use her as a sub DPS in world map just for that and her passive making it easier to collect flowers and shrooms in mondstrat. She is rather clunky to play though, and I wish they made her character a bit better in that regard.

Klee is my absolute favourite character. I got her on her rerun when I was ar 10 and she's still in my team. She definitely has some problems in her kit but I've found ways to circle around them. I love her gameplay that I triple crowned her and level 90 right now. (Currently waiting for a 5* weapon for her) In the end it depends on the preferences of the players and most seem to dislike Klee's gameplay, but I hope they don't hate Klee herself. Even though her attack speed may be slow, she is very good for using her charged attack and her mines. I use her primarily for those as she's my sub-DPS, I think they make up for that. If I want to use normal attack, I'd rather use my DPS. The mines come in handy very often though... (use Ganyu's charged after hitting enemy with pyro) edit: I have a lot of characters but my main team is Noelle, Klee, Kazuha//Kequing and Ganyu. Not super popular but it really works well

it’s cool seeing the shortcomings in Klee laid out like this bc i’m a Klee main, but i’ve subconsciously build my main party around all of these downsides to make her viable. i use Klee, C6 fischl, kazuha, and then a flex slot healer. for me, this creates an insane overloaded party with kazuha grouping everything together and hitting all the mines at once. it works, and i’ve invested a lot of time into the party, but everything said in the video still holds true- Klee does need the range, and a buffed charge attack since controlling the battlefield is hard with her when she pushes everything away. all in all, cool video. i clicked on this thinking i’d be a little salty about how much rang true, but i’m not. it’s well said and really well laid out

What happened to her exactly happened to Herrscher of the Void in Honkai Impact. When Klee came out there weren’t any OP choices like Ganyu, Hu Tao, Itto, Childe or anything like them. So Klee was automatically the strongest option, which was in the case of Honkai since there are no other Overpowered Valkyries aside from HoV. So as soon as more fleshed-out and new characters joined in the fray, the slowly they got dethroned. Back in the old day when I wasn’t a Honkai player HoV was fucking everywhere, just as Klee in Genshin, she was the talk of the town.

There was some Abyss rotations that still encourage player to play HoV. But yea, she's kinda out of meta for years now. Still very useful for fast clearing easy stages I guess.

A lot of people call new units garbage, one month later they realize that particular unit is actually really strong, and then they proceed to want a rerun of that character. Tbh, I don't even know why such thing occurs in the first place and when it begun, but it's quite disturbing.

An increase on aoe size across her whole kit and the burst staying up when switching would easily make her great and fix most of her problems maybe reduce the stamina cost of her charge attack and give a slight increase to attack speed

Klee was my first event 5* character and I tried so hard for so long to make her work but I just couldn't no matter what role I used he in, personally I would absolutely call her a bad character, maybe not objectively bad,, but her only slightly redeeming feature is damage. However even half the footage playing during the video is just Klee desperately running in circles trying to find an opening to actually play the game since everything she does so slow and clunky.

Around the 13:00 mark you mentioned a list of bad characters- Why would Kokomi need to be buffed? She’s in the top meta and insanely great. Role compression is wonderful (allowing for much more aggressive play) and she has synergy with many, many characters. Can even use her as a main dps in abyss.

I triple crowned my klee. If youve had her for some time these things are gonna be non-issues. You'll learn how to play her with ease. Haven't had any difficulty playing her at all because i built her well.

I cant even clear abyss full star without Klee, I have tried Childe/Ayaka/Diluc alternatives but the experience was horrible and I went back to Klee in the end. My Chile with his 5* bow is a massive disappointment because when in a team with beidou fishl, my Klee can do much more dps than Childe.

9:42 I really agree with this. Back then, I begged for Mihoyo on their surveys to make her burst lasts even after switching her. I think she would be a meta, even overpowering xiangling, for reverse vaporize or melt teams. Her fast pyro application would definitely keep up with fast cryo and hydro applicators like ayato, ayaka, and childe.
