Absolutely!! I just wrote a big comment (probably a bit too long loll) saying things along these lines! I've been a subscriber for about 5 ish years, and their videos and content have gotten me through some really tough days when im struggling with depression/PTSD, just by living life vicariously through their videos! As well as learning so much about autism etc too. They're definitely one of my favourite youtube channels i follow, and im subscribed to just absolutely so so many channels lol! 💜

We homeschooled our boys for 20+ years. Make a plan for homeschooling and work around it. You know that flexibility is key; however, if you don't have a plan, it can get too flexible and you don't get anything done. Set aside specific times during the day when she is at her best energy wise, and go from there. We got all of ours through college. Youngest is working on his Masters. We are definitely old--school homeschoolers from when it wasn't cool to be one. LOL! We never started school until 9 AM and were usually through with book work by lunch. The rest of the day was more sports, creative stuff, music, PE, life skills, etc. I suspect your ABA person can help you with goals too. You guys will rock it!

My son has done virtual school since the end of 6th grade and he is now in 11th grade and it has been so much better for him especially with his Aspergers the stimulation was way to hard for him and every day he was getting in trouble in school or crying not to go. I am so glad I did not listen to other people and listened to my decision and it has worked best for our family

@@ssjess2504 We did a few visits with a behavior therapist when he was probably 6, and she gave us some information. You can find lots of different motor skill/cognitive learning toys on Amazon, and other things to help. We do lots of cooking and chores together. He has come along so much in the last 5 years. As he has gotten older, he doesn't even have meltdowns anymore. I think at home is the way to go, but that is for us. Everyone's kids are different. Sending you mom hugs!

We are currently exploring homeschooling our 5 year old. He does speak but mostly does what his first occupational therapy said was scripting. I'm pretty lost and overwhelmed since I care for him mostly while my husband tries to do his best to support us. I'm so glad I found this channel. Makes me feel less alone.

Also, i almost find it odd that Cilla picked up on the "love u bye" haha. It just sounded normal to me i don't think it was a big deal also we always say how much we love you guys! And we know, or thought, that you guys have a lot of love for us as loyal fans and followers! Haha. Call it life training instead of home school. I'm having to start looking into schools for the two year old since he will be 3 in September. So any advice from your vlogs helps. Son will be having surgery March 25 for having tubes put into ears, a hearing test on ear drums, and having his adenoids removed. He failed a hearing test in November and then saw an ENT specialist for kids at NEMOURS Pensacola. Then I have to have more knee surgery to reconstruct my MPFL. I overdid it in PT.
