Additional Info. 2001 Nobel Prize in Chemistry was awarded to William S. Knowles, Ryoji Noyori and K. Barry Sharpless for their work on chiral catalysis but all of these were transition metal based. Knowles: Rh(DIPAMP) Noyori : Ru(BINAP) Sharpless: Ti(DET)
