I like Adam and he has been right before. I also have an optimistic outlook for at least the next year. But I get a bit nervous when he compared the forward PE of 22 with the higher PEs in 2002 and 2008. Those higher valuations happened at bear market bottoms because profits and forecasts fell even more than share prices - it certainly wasn’t bubbles…A forward PE of 22 may or may not be high but to get a reference we should compare the number with what it was in March 2000 or October 2007 at previous market tops - not at bear market bottoms.

I’m maybe not all in stocks right now, but am in bigglie. Will be interesting how things evolve into 2025…no landing looks to be rising in probability IMHO. Will inflation rise again? That’s my biggest concern. So waiting for gold to drop some more and will buy back into it for a chunk of my portfolio.
