Mike Vrabel would be my #1 Candidate. If Vrabel isn't going to be the next Browns Head Coach, then why not make him the next Ohio State Head Coach. While today sucked beyond belief, I try to keep things in perspective, we’re 17-7 since 2000 against ttun. Having said that, the Buckeyes were out coached, out played, out hustled and to top it all off, the play calling was atrocious! The 2 missed FG’s? were the result of 2 DPI’s in the end zone that the Buckeyes couldn’t convert into 14 points. Ryan Day has 1 win against Xichigan, and that was with Urban Meyer’s players. Since Day has been the HC, he’s gone for more finesse and speed instead of nasty brawlers that physically beat and ground their opponents into submission. Ryan Day is not the answer to beating Xichigan or any other top 5 or top 10 teams. If, and it’s a mighty big if, the Buckeyes win the CFP championship, it shouldn’t matter at all about the status of Day’s employment, fire him and get a HC who knows and understands how to win the big game…my opinion and mine alone…

Ever since Day took over from Urban, the team identity has drifted further from Big Ten toughness and physicality to Big 12 flash and finesse. Too much emphasis on perimeter play and not enough emphasis in the trenches where games are won and lost. Someone should count how many 5 starts and 4 stars recruits are on the OSU roster this year. Probably like 20. I looked at the senior year (which were incoming in 2021), OSU got 6 of the top 11 (!!!). That's crazy. And then we got Caleb down from the portal. And then recruited the #1 player in the country last year. And we played against a weak weak Michigan team, with their 2 best players injured. We will never in our lifetime see such a talent gap between OSU and TTUN. This is a good candidate for the worst loss in Buckeyes history.

To have that roster, that talent. It would be a coach’s dream. Recruiting new talent is not a problem. Many coaches will line up for that opportunity.

Michigan has ALWAYS been superior to OSU regardless of record. Michigan is an elite school, with a storied and elite program, that chooses players who have all the qualities needed to play on an elite team. This game proved the type of players Michigan picks. They won in spite of having a clueless unqualified coach. Things like this make Michigan players superior to most teams' players. Especially OSU's

Even when a Michigan team is not at its best, they still are not inferior to OSU. Michigan is ALWAYS superior to OSU regardless of their record, because of the type of players Michigan has. OSU doesn't have that type of players. They never do
