Too much dirt and a shovel for me personally makes bamboo not worth the effort to find. I do like how scaffholding looks in city builds, though.

Honestly, I feel the same way, and I think much of the community does too. If they did updates like they used to, the game would ultimately benefit from it instead of being so deeply hated like it is now, and if they wanted to add new stuff, they can still do it without it being just a one-off gimmick by having the things be actually useful

*says how old updates would add on to existing features* *gets mad when 1.20 does the same thing to see how the community would react* Despite people’s opinions on 1.21, I’m personally excited to see what gets added next. You stated in the beginning of the video that you were only focusing on the survival aspect of the game, then brought up armor trims and archeology which is CLEARLY meant for the more creative and cosmetic part of the community. Survival isn’t just meant for survival, but it would be cool if there was a separate mode for that. You did make a good point about how updates come out, but it definitely wasn’t a random decision and had reasoning behind it. I’m assuming you didn’t mention the trial chambers because the update hasn’t come out yet, but so far they seem promising. It’s basically the dungeon update, adds a new skeleton variant that you could say has a unique mechanic other than a potion effect, a new blaze like mob that expands on the worldbuilding, and fixes an issue with looted structures. The worst thing about this update is probably how some amazing data packs won’t be able to support this version. It’s also been said by one of the devs for the deep dark to be the base for a future end update.

I'm not making any judgements on 1.21 until I see the update release. I'd rather judge the game as it stands. Regardless of claims made by Mojang, actions will speak louder than words when the update and future ones come. The Trial chambers do sound awesome, though. Archeology and trims are definitely part of the survival game experience if you can replicate them and use them. Not saying the concepts are bad on their own, just I believe they should do more than they currently do. Archeology especially should tie into the exploration part of the game but what they give just isn't sufficient enough, in my opinion. There's definitely a reason behind update release windows now, but I don't think anyone would be mad if we got smaller high-quality updates, that potentially release more, as compared to the big ones that typically end up mediocre.

Not saying that trims aren't apart of the survival experience, but I don't see a reason to add functionality to a purely cosmetic item. It would be nice to have more than just cosmetic reasons to go exploring though, but I think it's a step in the right direction.

@@ImSomethingSpecial Oh haha, it's a webcomic. The statue in the background looks like one of the characters from it, with the orange horns and grey skin, but I could be mistaken since I only saw it from the back! Great video btw!
