I agree that 1) Omega's gender-switch probably required extensive care to make it work, and 2) she seems to be an age-unaltered clone. I think that these two possibilities, together, make more sense when you factor in a known truth: that Jango Fett's DNA sample is beginning to degrade, as stated in the first episode by the Kaminoans. I've said this elsewhere, but here's my suspicion: that Omega was designed to act as a replacement template if Jango's DNA was indeed lost. For perhaps that reason, the intensive effort required to change her gender might also have meant revitalizing and 'cleaning up" the genes, and that her lack of alteration, otherwise, would have made her a suitable template, without advanced aging damaging the resultant product. (This could be a very old Kaminoan trick, for all that we know.) Also, when coupled with the fact that she has no inhibitor, we should consider that the new spate of clone troops that the Kaminoans may have in mind might NOT be meant to serve the Empire, and that perhaps they may be gearing up for a clone rebellion like in Legends. As for Omega's future, I can't help but think that Dave Filoni is setting the character up to use her in a later time frame of the saga . . . like having her show up in "The Mandalorian," when she should be in her early 30s. ;-)

Omega may only believe she doesn't have an inhibitor chip. The Kaminoans were creating the perfect soldier. Her chip or some similar, chip 2.0 maybe, may be dormant. Once activated, her super soldier training/programming might kick in. She told Echo she didn't like being plugged into the Kaminoans machines. How much programming were they giving her? More intensive flash training, maybe. Nano tech instead of an easily removable chip? Will be interesting to see what happens.

The reason might be that Omega is a completely unmodified clone who is needed to create a new clone army without inhibitor chips that forces them to be loyal only to the Empire. Omega might even be Boba's twin sibling.

I was thinking, since it seems like there's a lot of gene manipulation that happened to create omega it wasn't just an a copy and paste of jango that required mental restrictions to keep the clones under republic or empire control.

Bro, Wrecker was trying to stop himself, or was resistant to the chip, because he is not a Reg. Rex was conflicted and fought it bc he is not normal either. The Regs were not conflicted. Maybe some that weren’t completely normal, or had small abnormalities also were conflicted. However, the vast majority of Regs lost their humanity with that one command…”execute Order 66.”. They weren’t thinking on the inside “What am I doing?!” or something. The Regs, especially the newer ones, fully converted. Again, of course, even though they are clones, there were some exceptions. Also those that were very different, like Clone Force 99, would have had no or a delayed reactions. I just don’t believe that Order 66 only made them kill Jedi. It awakened certain knowledge like Darth Sidious’s name and the fact that he he gave the order. Plus they seemed ok with this info like it wasn’t a huge revelation (even the couple that were privy to the Sith’s involvement in the war). It told them that if any clone didn’t comply they were to be executed as traitors as well. It also, and this is big, took away their humanity. They went from serving the Chancellor, the Jedi, and the people of the Republic, to serving the New Order and its one absolute leader. For the vast majority of Clones, this was too much and they didn’t give it another thought until it wore off… if it ever did. We have seen in Canon that after a couple weeks, Kanan got thru to one of his clone pursuers by getting him to remember his master’s fighting side by side with the clones. Maybe this happens to many as time goes on. Maybe that is part of the reason the clones had to go in Palpatine’s Empire. Unless the chip was intensified again and again as with Crosshairs, the clones came out of the spell/ programming. I am not sure on this. I am sure tho that most Regs were not fighting it. They were too programmed, and that is very tragic… for the Jedi, the Republic, and the Clones themselves.

Medical assistant 🤔. I think Palpatine designed her to help or lead the cloning team on Exegol . By looking at Snoke they needed some help. And the combative training so she can protect Sheeve clones in weak states. And he (Sheeve) had a son maybe she was made female as a mate for his child in later years .

Who was Omega's template? We know Jango, Sifo Difas, was it a Jedi? Was it a Female Jedi or Sith? Darth Sideous kidnapped several Force Sensitive Children? He attempted to Clone himself bodies that were sabotaged by his own Doctor. Remember Cyco 5 and his experiments. I think Omega may have been an attempt to naturally raise a Female who they could breed. The next Gen plus The Kimino Woman may have wanted a child.

So a couple of my grains in highsxhool and I had a dnd campaign that was based on the clone wars era of starwars but our dm kept saying no you can't play a female clone... I ended up playing a female clone because of persistence, but how crazy is that that in cannon they are proved wrong my omega's existence

She may be being set up as future clone resistance, maybe a template in a strange sense as I very much doubt Kamino's did not see what was coming and not have a backup plan in place. I think omega is a unaugmented clone and so she will live past what the bad batch will live and maybe she's one of the characters we see in the return of the Jedi I mean gorge made that old rebel with white beared into captain Rex and has always done stuff with simple back ground characters and what I wanna see is a new star wars character an average Joe that does good for the world and maybe have it set in the legacy era or even further I'd like to see what happens to the star wars galaxy in the 21st century aka modern universe times instead of back in the past and would like to see new ships and new characters come into play and maybe have the story be mini stories like my book is about and how it's not just one character but many characters with there own goals and ideologies human alien whatever and seeing it through there points of view

No dialogue in this show is wasted or by accident. She was told she doesnt have one, but she does. Tech didnt scan Omega ... BIG mistake. Omega ends up killing Wrecker. They go back to Kamino for Crosshair, kamanoans see her, they activate the chip, she fights it for a few seconds, long enough to have some exchange with Wrecker, then she kills him. Thats how the season ends. Crosshair gets redeemed, Omega turns super bad.
