Easy solution. Sell all but 3 or 4 watches, max. 3 or 4 that suit your life-style, and you really enjoy wearing. An uncluttered life is a happy life.

Totally the same, I wear my OMEGA Seamaster 300M Quartz all the time. Even though I have watches that are much more expensive I always seems to go to that watch the most. Not because its quartz and always has the time but it was a gift and I find it crazy comfy and you can wear it with anything so to me its just the perfect watch.

My watch collection consists of six timepieces and the SMP is my most worn watch. One reason is that it was the first one I bought but it is also versatile. As a dive watch it is rugged and solid but it is also slim and not too heavy. Its overall look and feel makes it dressy as well. You can wear it with casual attire as well as with a suit, it never looks out of place. It's no surprise that Bond wore it even with a tuxedo and I have to admit that I did that as well.

Hello Oleg. I have a Seamaster 300 as well, and find it incredibly comfortable; so I agree with you as far as it being my most favourite watch. I collect automatics, however, and really enjoy winding them by hand; setting the date & time, and strapping a new one on. To each their own. Thank you for sharing your comments, and stay safe. Kevin.

Hey Oleg, I’ve got a few watches, but my Omega Seamaster gets the most wrist time. Mines automatic 41, but since I wear it every day, it’s always running. It’s very comfortable, goes under any cuff, and you can dress up or down with it. It’s a phonnonimal watch, and I love it, and it’s also Bonds favorite! Cheers, Matt!✌️👍ps. Your dog is a special k-9! It’s a good idea to think about the watch you wear the most as well as the other way around, i.e. the watch you wear the least often because it helps - at least this is what I’ve experienced- to decide which watches should stay in the collection. Thanks for the video!

My first nice watch (by the standards of a 20-year old waiter) was a Citizen Chrono AT that I picked up on an employee discount while I was working a second job at a jeweler. Since then I've expanded my watch collection to include some nice pieces including a pretty nice Hamilton and several mid-range automatics. Unfortunately I lost my original Citizen several years back but was able to find a really inexpensive one on ebay and fell in love with it all over again. I definitely share your sentiments that one of the biggest draws for me is that with the atomic timekeeping feature I just never need to set it. My watchbox doesn't wind and time and time again I just gravitate towards the citizen because to me it is aesthetically pleasing and also no matter when I pick it up it's set for the proper time, day, date.

I"m right there with you! I wear watches based on the occasion/what I am doing. I don't know that I ever make it past 3 swaps in a day, but it is really common for me to wear a watch to the office, change for a work out, then change again for the evening. I'm also a big fan of quartz for the same reasons you listed. My dad thinks I'm crazy because it takes next to no time to set the time (I also realize there is something to be enjoyed when setting the time) but for me it makes a difference when choosing what to wear haha.

Hi Oleg! You have this ability to inspire. I watch with pleasure all your clips and appreciate what you are doing for watch enthusiasts. I think that for most of us the name/ brand of the watch means a lot. The truth is that most of us simply want people to say "Wow, is this Orient, Seiko, Omega, Rolex, Tudor....." It is the same like to have a fancy car. I have 16 watches and my favorite brand is Orient, especially Orient divers. I own 2 of them Orient Ray II black and Orient Kamasu red - stylish, affordable, durable in time.

I basically have a 3 watch per day routine too. 1 for work, 1 for around the home, and 1 for sport/beater. I only have 8 watches in my collection and I think that is probably too many. Half of them are quartz. During the week I may switch them up and then again on the weekend. Most commonly worn is my Seiko land turtle - light, comfortable, very legible.

Quartz watches are underrated in the watch enthusiast community. While most of my watches are mechanical, my dive watch is quartz as I wear that one infrequently. It's nice to not have to reset the time every time I pick it up.

I watched this when it came out and came back to it ! Currently, my Seiko SNJ025 Arnie re-release is getting a lot of time. Partly for why you love your SMP Quartz. It is always accurate and does the things I love about G-Shocks. It is quite large, but wears better than most G-Shocks due to the reasonable lug to lug measurement. Partly, I love it because Arnold wears one in Commando & Predator. It’s a tool watch and won’t appeal to everyone. That’s OK. My watches are only for me! I also love that it’s a true diver. I would love to go on another dive trip if I can get into decent enough shape and fine the money. I love your videos! Keep up the great work!😍

My 1973 Omega F300Hz gets the most wrist time. But, I mostly only wear it when I am working and in a suit (which is still 4-5 days per week). I’ve had it since 1997 and my Dad got it new as a gift from my mom. It’s a perfect dress watch size for my wrist at 38mm and 42 lug to lug. It’s in amazing condition and has tremendous sentimental value. Battery powered electronic tuning fork chronometer, smooth sweep, incredibly accurate, and has that audible tuning fork hum when raised up to the ear.

Hi Oleg, It shows you really enjoy the watch hobby by wearing multiple watches in a day. I would do that when I was working. I would wear something much nicer than around the home as I tend to have to do chores I don't want to scratch a nice watch. You have many to choose from. I do not have any watch winders as then the watch is always running and wearing it out and I am not sure if it will need service more often but something to look into for sure. I don't mind changing the time but I hate to change the day and date if the watch has it. I have a few Gshocks I wear the most, mainly lightweight and do not even notice it on the wrist as far as weight goes. Plus I like to time a lot of things. I am even thinking of getting a Fitbit tracker watch. If I buy used one generation back it is like half the cost of new. Being stuck at home since early March it is difficult to exercise or to get motivated.

In my experience, the watch sat on my wrist most of the time is a quartz watch, because of the light weight, accuracy, convenient( don't need to reset), a mechanical watch is used to wearing when I have time to prepare for some dress up occasions when I have time to rewind or reset, and the gain or loss some seconds makes no harm in a day.

I rotate my SARB033 and Tissot PR100 White for going to the office during the week, which keeps both automatics running (although I do wind the SARB from time to time on the weekends). In the evenings and weekends I switch between a variety of quartz sport watches (usually a Seiko Kinetic BFK, a Vaer C5 Field Black, a Vaer C5 Classic White) because like you I prefer quartz in those applications. I also have an Alpinist with Strapcode Jubilee, a couple of SKXs, some Seiko 5s and various Eco-Drives that I wear on occasion.

Hi Oleg , when the battery expires on the Omega where do you get the battery changed AND more importantly on a 300m water resistance do they then do a pressure test ? I own this watch but automatic therefore I don't worry about any battery . Great viewing and thank you .

Hi Nicholas, you need to roughly replace the batter once every 3-4 years. So about twice as often as you would need to service an automatic watch. With auto you also use the screw down crown a lot more.

Hi Oleg and Bond! I am a new collector, since Oct. '19, and have a 12 watch collection. I always consult your reviews when I'm considering a watch. I thought it was bc I am new to the hobby that I wear multiple watches a day. I too find it annoying to set the day and date but not the time for some reason. I've also just bought a Bulova Precisionist bc I don't want another watch to set and for the smooth seconds hand. Anyway, my question is why don't you have a watch winder? I've been considering getting one or two myself. If you do decide to get one, I'd enjoy seeing you review it and your process. Thanks again and keep up the great work.

I do something in between. At times I wear an auto for a few days because I don't want to set another one. My quick go-to watches are from my eco-drives or solar g-shock. I don't really own a straight up battery powered quartz. There is also another reason why I switch watches - the fact that autos lose accuracy over time. I just can't stand when a watch is more than a minute off and instead of resetting it I just put on another one. But for the ones that are very accurate I tend to wear for days or even a whole week

Hi Oleg, I am currently sort of on an extended trip that I started with a watch on each wrist and one more in my luggage. So for the past few months my most worn watch would have to be one of these. One watch I have been avoiding wearing as a screw in the bracelet seems to be coming loose sometimes and I have not tracked down a little screwdriver to convince myself that everything is on tight. So my most worn watch is either my G-Shock metal square (which I often chose, because it is quartz and therefore always set to the correct time), or my Heimdallr Seiko 6105-8110 homage, cause it is with me and I like it, and there is nothing else available until movement restrictions end and I can get back to my watch boxes and grab a couple of new watches

HI Oleg, would love to see you review the Casio Oceanus T200 or S100. The Oceanus lineup are Casio's highest spec watches. They're JDM watches, but are readily available online. Really nice finishing for the price point. Tough Solar movement, Multiband 6, perpetual calendar, decent lume, sapphire crystal with AR coating, 100m WR and a nice bracelet with a milled clasp. Never need to change the battery or correct the time/date. Always accurate to the fraction of a second. T200 has an optional Bluetooth app as well so you can sync it to your phone's time if you have no atomic signal nearby. S100 is titanium and has the same Zarastu polishing Grand Seiko uses. They offer great value in my opinion, but are largely overlooked in the West.

Oleg...just discovered your channel with this video, I like what I see. I liked & I subscribed. Great video...but you need a Lavaliere mic. All the big boys use one.

I personally wouldn’t use watch-winders just because I read it’s good to let the movement rest. Kinda like a car engine it’s probably gonna wear out faster if it’s running 24/7.

If you have like 40 automatics, and say you only give them a full wind like 12x a year; I imagine it won’t need servicing anywhere near as frequent as if you leave it spinning 365 days a year

Casio G-Shock DW-5600-E. My work/beater watch. Where I work it would be completely impractical to wear anything else. Very tough with plenty of features, 200m WR, replaceable for $42. I rotate my Autos. Usually wear a different watch after work and 2 watches on my days off. Setting them does not bother me. I like to know that that the adjustments work, as well as the hand wind.

In the moment my pretty new Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical gets a lot of wristtime. For me I love to windet and set the time at my watches before I wear them. But when I am in hurry my g shock is ready for the day 😂

Speedmaster Sapphire 3861and my 21 year old Seamaster 2254 with the sword hands and lume that lasts forever. The Speedy, with its Master Co-axial movement, runs at +1 second per day and the Seamaster, despite never having serviced, also runs a +1 per day. I have some nice Bulovas also but the two Omegas are pretty much the rotation.

I have the automatic version of that watch and still enjoy wearing it. I wear it on a rubber strap though as I feel that strap looks very outdated now

The watch I wear the most is my skx013. It's a strap monster and looks great on multiple occasions. I'm trying face up for a blue sinn 556 I. One of my grails is a zennith el primero tri color 38mm on a leather strap and one day get a rolex president yellow gold black face 36mm.

My day+date Loreo subbey gets the most time. Good size and weight (put on a milled clasp). Very comfortable to me. Wish it were quartz for the same weight. Such a drag to set it every 3 days as I don't wear my watches a lot. A hugely long power reserve would be great to have as well of course. I'd pay extra for that.

My home watch is a F91W. You can't really feel it on the wrist, not worried to scratch it, has hourly chimes (helpful when studying), a timer, great for cooking, and an alarm for when you need to remember do something (laundry or whatever). I like the 80s esthetics. But I am no longer wearing it out; it is just a little too weird, especially when you meet new people. So I would switch to another watch to enjoy that day. Life's too short to wear one watch a day 😁

Its funny I wonder how many people started to really appreciate watches after buying this omega model. I bought the same watch as a 21st gift to myself. Its a great watch no doubt. I wore it for years and years everyday then discovered a seiko now I have lots to choose from. Its probably still the most high end watch I have. I enjoy the others which I still have but to be honest I could sell them all and come back to wearing the seamaster for more years to come.

What a coincidence, I just took out my Seamaster 300 out of the watch box yesterday after a while of not wearing it. I wear watches like I used to play CD's when they were popular. Once I get tired of it and it gets stale to look at, I switch the watch.

It's the same like me. Sometimes I wear my watches several days, sometimes I change them several times a day. Most wrist time gets my Daytona. Cause it works well, it's water resistant and in fact of the locked down nobody without me could sea it.

Watchwinders aren’t expensive, but they are noisy. I would recommend, as I too can’t be bothered to keep setting and resetting, and it means I have two auto watches ready to go. It makes me think that the 5KX, s are practical, as they can be so easily wound, without the screwing / unscrewing. Of the crown, with the wear and cross threading issues that can cause. A couple of grab and go, quartz pieces are always worth having, too. How are you managing without the gym? I’m starting to get a bit of cabin fever. So pleased I have a dog to walk.

I think I might get a couple of watch winders in the future. It's difficult being stuck at home with no gym. I was training for powerlifting meet so now that has to be on hold until next year. Try to exercise with some dumbbells and bends that I have at home but it's not the same. And yes 100% agree having a dog is a great excuse to get out of the house:)

I think Princess Di bought William his quartz Seamaster for essentially the same reason as you wear yours. It represents James Bond (Service to country, etiquette, tenacity , courage) and it's quartz so that it would always be ready to go.

Imo for an everyday watch, that you actually value the functionality, a quartz is the way to go. Cause you don't have to worry about power reserve, you don't need to keep it on a winder, and you don't have to set the time when the watch stops, plus it's very accurate. Just grab the watch and go The Seamaster 300m quartz is a very good watch
