Ok i get how strong the show portrayed him but how did he even get such power, the dragon balls power are relatively limited in the entire franchise, i just don't understand how negative energy from a wish can equate to this power (of course i know he gets a boost from absorbing the dragon balls and to the common folk you would think he gets basically a x7 multiplier however dragon ball isn't that simple). I just don't get the power jump, how could dragon balls that couldn't overcome the biology of androids destroy the universe by simply standing there "MENACINGLY".

Omega Shenron will always be a beast in my eyes. His ability to corrupt all of the cosmos just by existing is ridiculous. I can't describe how imposing he felt despite barely trying against the fighters, and this was before he started being a menace. While I don't remember much (a fault of mine, I won't lie), it doesn’t discredit the scary reality of Omega’s fearsome power.

In DB Legends' Story mode, Syn Shenron was shown to able to beat Super Saiyan God Shallot (exhausted from fighting Nuova) and SSG Giblet, the SSG twins, who were able to easily defeat Golden Frieza (Resurrection F). Syn Shenron could give SSB Goku (At the start of ToP) a good fight. As Omega Shenron, would be able fight SSB Kaioken x20 Goku (At the start of ToP) a good fight as well. People just underestimate GT characters, and give DBS and God transformations way too much credit.

"A god of destruction." Wonder if Toriyama got the idea for Beerus from this. Tho, the difference is that Beerus has to use the power of destruction for it and must keep the higher order of the universe by destroying only specific things, Omega is unbound entirely, he corrupts EVERYTHING all by his own might.

I always liked Omega Shenron's design, it just looks final boss worthy unlike all the gods of destruction in Super. One of the actual canon gods is a freaking clown! Like I have no idea how that universe can take its god of destruction seriously... Going back to Omega Shenron, I wonder how powerful Cell or Buu would become if they absorbed him.

the clown god of destruction was sick. a nod to joker. and his angel to harley. lol... akira was lowkey a fan of dc marvel. which is why jiren hype even became a thing and all that superhero pride trooper jargon stems from as well. or he watched the dethbattle and got fed up. but omega was a GOAT level boss. wish they redo this shadow dragon canon again for dbs. or what ever its future name will be when it does come back. with toyo in control now. anythin can truly happen. rip toriyama tho. So glad you made this, I got laughed off of a scaling post for suggesting that ultimate spirit bomb Goku could beat Super Gogeta... my dude he shrugged off a universal + attack with no damage. The guy is basically GT Zeno at that point- even ssj4 Gogeta had to fight full power to stand toe to toe with Omega, and he used so much power he defused before he defeated him... No selling the attack and vaporizing that guy shows he's MANY times stronger than that even. Narratively it's not a debate. I got the whole "battle of the gods was already universal" like come on man, they were TWO ultra powerful beings blasting at each other full power... Omega's AURA itself was universal. anyway thanks for the vid man, people show GT no respect lol

Maybe because he follows the events of Wrath of the Dragon movie. In that movie SSJ3 Goku >>> Ultimate Gohan and SSJ3 Gotenks. Super Hirudegarn one shots Gohan and Gotenks but SSJ3 Goku tanks two attacks of Super Hirudegarn and smiles at him.

And note that in this statement the afterlife's location and trancendence over Dimensionality are mentioned separately The looking down part is the part that explains the location but the trancending Dimensionality part 超次元(Chō-jigen) literally translates to Super dimensional which means transcendental to Dimensionality under the context that the concept of time is non existent That's mean the feats here is Outerversal and the plane of existence separating the afterlife and other realms is 1 layer into outerversal And the macroscosm 2 layers into outerversal Yes omega shenron puts most of fiction on a platter

Every time some one downplays this feat they always mention "but it would happen overtime" even if that was the case the fact that the negeative energy can soan across the macrocasm of dragonball would be still impressive similar to how whis and beerus traveled to earth that was their fastest way to travel and if you compare it like that it still is a very impressive feat even if lowballed Side note Omega have his negative energyblast that content that energy into one ppint should blowup the macrocasm instantly even ssj4 gogeta who used his fraction of his power to turn it to possitive eneegy shows this which proves he's a multoversal threat

I'm usually very critical of GT, but I did think Omega Shenron was a cool final boss design. I wouldn't mind seeing Super redo the corrupted dragonballs story, with a major change -- make it the Super Dragonballs, not earth''s ones. As usual, GT's arc had a big plothole; the power of earth's Dragonballs were already surpassed way back in og Dragonball (Piccolo Daimao literally blew Shenron apart), so it makes no sense for these powerful characters to be spawned from them. But it would make sense with the Super Dragonballs, which haven't been surpassed yet. Could see newer designs for the other 6 too, and have them fight other characters (Piccolo Vs Su Shenron, for example, would be a perfect match).

Considering Goku destroyed a universe, or the space between them with a single blow during the Baby arc, I'd say Omega is more powerful then any current Super character. At least up to T.O.P. with the possible exclusion of the Angels and higher. Keep in mind Omega's feat was also growing in the rate of destruction. Basically doing like a countdown that has half it's remaining time instantly removed every second before the boom. SSJ4 only timed out due to the unknown issue of their massive drain on their time-limit due to the raw power; causing it to be reduced to less than half. It shows AND states that just killing Omega would result in the negative energy being released destroying everything. They had to convert it to safe levels before killing him. Literally two Big Bang Kamahama was enough to kill him; possibly one if he used the boosted versions.
