Toronto is lucky… they get those just starting-out. Besides, Mo-town coming to Waterdeep would have been great… ooh… or maybe Waterdeep may have gotten a taste of Alice Cooper. Now THAT… that is an Edtime story that needs to be told!

Mr. Greenwood, That is a wild story and I loved it. But what would happen when the "normal" world realize all those portals to the forgotten realms and took advantage of them? I can only image the mayhem that would happen if a modern state backed military got a gate open wide enough to roll an army though. I can see even a flight of angry dragons getting blown out of the sky by a bunch of stinger missiles.

I always liked "portal fantasy" (got started on it from Canadian fantasy authors like Guy Gavriel Kay and Charles de Lint) and we messed with that some in a few games I've played in, but never with polka. I've often wondered why we've never seen the genre in video games really. There's never enough portal fantasy or modern magic (for grown ups) games, and I don't know why that is, but it seems a shame.
