; Premaprabhu, Please explain which Brahmins gave what solutions to which problems? Hinduism/ Sanatan dharm claims to believe and follow AHINSHA parmo dharma while glorifying through singing hymns and worshiping mythological Katils like Ram, Krishna, and Shiva, who beheaded his son and as a fool replaced it with a large and heavy head of a slaughtered baby elephant crushing the beheaded lifeless body lying on the ground creating a composite MURDA/Ganapathi worshiped by the Hindus for good luck and removing life obstacles, instead of removing the MURDA/ GANAPATHI for cremation. Bhagwat Gita FALSELY claims to contain the verbal discourse Krishna supposedly gave Arjun at the Mahabharath war of 5561 BCE. Both Arjun and Krishna died without leaving any manuscript necessary for the reliable printing of the Gita. In fact, Krishna was born in 3228 BCE, ~ 2333 years AFTER the Mahabharat War of 5561 BCE. A truth not shared with the Hindu andhviswasis. The late Ram and Krishna are claimed to be the avatars of Vishnu without presenting any evidence in the last 5000+ years of Hindu History. WHY? Is It JHOOT too! Valmiki, and later Tulsidas Ramayan, narrates that Sri Ram, in rage and revenge, killed Ravan and Khumbhkaran for Sita haran with the help of Hanuman, a flying monkey with a flaming tail that is claimed to have swallowed the Sun millions of times larger and too hot go nearby. No Hindu, brahmin, or not dares to correct when no such animal/ monkey ever existed, nor can it. Ram may have been the son of Maharaj Dashrath, but Ramayan's mythology lacks the truth. Facts lead to the truth missing in Hinduism/ Sanatam dharm. Think and use common sense and convert as millions of Hindus have done. It is a personal choice. Satyemeva Jayete.

Jason has got it right 100%. Very impressive. Oppenheimer mistranslated the text somewhat. He thought Kaal means death, while it means time. For more, read ahead. The actual thing is as follows. You will see that Oppenheimer used this as a consolation that if he hadn't built the atomic bomb, Hilter would have. The speech basically just means to say that you do your dharma (duty, do the right thing) no matter how difficult it is. Bhagwat Geeta 11:32 श्रीभगवानुवाच | कालोऽस्मि लोकक्षयकृत्प्रवृद्धो लोकान्समाहर्तुमिह प्रवृत्त: | ऋतेऽपि त्वां न भविष्यन्ति सर्वे येऽवस्थिता: प्रत्यनीकेषु योधा: || 32|| When Arjun was hesitating to go to war against his evil cousin brothers (the Kauravas) in the battlefield, Krishna took his Vishwaroopam form (kzbin.info/www/bejne/rWq2m5h_qtZmh8k) and said this to Arjun. "I am mighty Time, the source of destruction that comes forth to annihilate the worlds. Even without your participation, the warriors arrayed in the opposing army shall cease to exist." Basically, since everything that exists is first born, it sustains and then it is destroyed / dies. Be it stars, planets or lifeforms. Time will destroy the members of the opposing army as well, with or without you. So, Arjun, you do your dharma (duty) and fight.

The word Kal in Sanskrit is used for both Death and time. In fact, as per Hindu scriptures, everybody in the universe is bound by, and ultimately killed by Time. Nobody except God is beyond time. Since time kills everything, including the universe itself, the same word also means Death.

@@ganapremi8034 I agree with your explanation of how time relates to death. With the progress of time, death is inevitable. But literally, in Sanskrit, time is not the same as death. Agami kaal = Tomorrow, Bhoot Kaal = Yesterday, Kaal = Time. Yama, the God of Death, is often called Kaal because of the above causality.

there are conflicting versions describing oppenheimer;s regret in one version, he doesnt regret japan and even says he wished the bomb was used earlier against the germans. his regret might have been the fact the US was making the bomb unnecessarily powerful, he started to speak against the creation of H-bombs and was chided by the govt. it;s possible that his regret might have arose from the nature of human cruelty in wanting to destroy more and found it unnecessary.

That is in effect Oppenheimer’s Arjuna moment. Who was Krishna? Well, his own wisdom that advised him to go ahead with the project despite his consternations. All of us have Krishna and Arjuna in us. Who guides us in testing times, dictates our destiny. Stay strong, stay true. 👍🙏🕉💪

No. Oppenheimer and his team calculated deaths in 10-20,000. There was no way to know in advance what the aftermath of this would be. The actual count was 220,000. He recited the line because he knew what he was about to create would result in a nuclear arms race. Hence, "I am death, destroyer of the world." I just saw the movie.

Whatever a man reads or hears, it becomes safe in his mind. Sometimes what we read makes us think. Oppenheimer had read the Gita and when he tested the atomic bomb, he did not read a line from the Gita, he remembered the line of the Gita. And that is that I am the creator as well as the destroyer. And when he saw the test of the bomb, Oppenheimer said, "Now I have become destruction." By reading the Bhagavad Gita, a person definitely understands the difference between right and wrong and gets answers to every question.

If by reading the Gita u understand what’s right and wrong why did he still decide to explode the bomb inspite of the fact that hitler had killer himself the Japanese were weaker by the day and they choose to bomb the innocent civilians without prior warning all of these put the whole act of his into adharma category . Now you decide if he did the right thing or wrong ! Merely idolising the scriptures but not really using your own righteous thought into the right action defeats the purpose of being a good santani .

This video just appeared in my KZbin feed just as the Gita once appeared in my life, as a paperback book which some academic ( probably retiring from my university) had left behind on a table when they emptied their office in the hope that the books would find good homes. My eyes fell on it and took it home to read. I was blown by the exchange between Krishna and Arjuma. Thus started my discovery of sanatana dharma. When you have grown up within Western culture which so celebrates human will, it's challenging to accept that you have no control and must accept that there is a greater purpose which you cannot see. In this moment of human history, the atomic bomb needed to be invented. Yes it killed many innocent Japanese civilians but all through the cold war the threat of absolute annihilation forced competing countries to keep talking.The film being made now invites us to reflect about the power of AI but it also comes at a time when warmongering in the American neocons' proxy war in Ukraine against the Russians has again put us at risk of a nuclear conflict. Krishna's line from the Gita maybe tells us that the American empire will also die with the passage of time and there is no point fighting it.

Unknowingly you have said something which may be interpreted as a casteist outlook. Knowledge in Gita is not related to any religion or philosophy. No other faith subscribes to Nishkama karma. Moreover Lord Krishna is worshipped by Hindus and those who subscribe to Hindu philosophy and thought. So it is natural to say Bhagawat Geeta is a Hindu scripture.

Gita is not for everyone because what krishna says is coming from his higher consciousness and many people can't understand because they have not that much consciousness to understand that is why krishna choose arjuna to tell the truth of life . For example child go school because they cant understand books he need a teacher. Similarly we need teacher like you to understand deep meaning of Hinduism. 🙏

Thanks for this! I had previously thought that Oppenheimer quoting this was an expression of regret - akin to “what have I done?” But after viewing this explanation of the context of that saying within Hindu scripture, I now think it’s much more likely that Oppenheimer was saying this as absolution for his “creation” - telling himself that he was simply a tool of the divine will in bringing this form of destruction to human hands. That explanation would also be more consistent with his interview from the mid-sixties where he basically said that since the US generals believed using the bomb was necessary, he was fine with the decision. (When do military leaders *not* think overwhelming force is necessary? 🙄)

He committed a heinous crime utilised his weird brain to destroy humanity at the time when Germans and Japanese were getting weaker by the day , chose to detonate the bomb in a civilian area and to top it all it was an unannounced attack ! I leave you now to re think and think of this situation, does it feel right or wrong to you ?! Also if we remember correctly that the essence of god runs in all of us and all living n beings why didn’t he consider the Japanese as children of god too ? And if he did , then he would’ve not carried on with his evil plans .

Very good video. I've always felt that a majority of people misunderstand why Oppenheimer quoted this particular Sloka. Oppenheimer understood the Pandora's box they had just opened and yet possessed the wisdom that anybody who would perish would ultimately perish due to time ( Kala). Oppenheimer himself had very little if nothing to do with it just as Arjuna would not be the hand of death in performing his dharma as a Ksyathriya. I think he was attempting to solace himself through the wisdom he possessed from the Sri Gita. Still there must of been great conflict within him, just as there was with Arjun. I feel it is very appropriate and interesting that this came to his consciousness at that time. Who knows if it was a justification or not......

Skewed? Falsified? What happened to Hiroshima and Nagasaki then? And all that footage of nuclear explosions? Doesn't look skewed or falsified does it. Please enlighten us with your youtuber, internet dweller knowledge of atomic physics, what the real facts are about atomic energy, and not what expert theoretical physicists who actually spent their lives researching and observing this stuff say? Control us through fear? Who's being controlled through fear exactly? You? Sounds more like a you problem. Stop it with your conspiracies. Stop calling everything fake news before actually stopping to think about what you're saying. This is knowledge that should be shared and talked about. This movie and the hype around it isn't to reinforce any kinds of misconceptions, it's just to share knowledge about a really important part of our history which should be respected. Stop trying to spread your conspiracy agenda onto others. Not everything, and definitely not all of history, is a conspiracy to control people through fear. Stop victimizing yourself

One example: The promotion of the idea that nuclear bombs leave the targeted area area contaminated and unlivable for decades is questionable. Vegetation was observed growing about a month after the bombing, and restoration was done in two years. Both cites were comprised of mostly wood structures, and those were incinerated, but stone block buildings remained standing. A conventional fire bomb would accomplish the same thing. It's tedious, but research will reveal many contradictions and unproved hypotheses.

@@awakenotwoke7949 maybe but I think that contamination is a real problem. How do you explain all the radioactive side effects people have been dealing with?
@uchihagaeshi1169
@uchihagaeshi1169 11 ай бұрын
@awakenotwoke7949 oh no I completely agree with you there. Coincidentally i just learned from my friend the other day about what you said haha that the cities weren't radioactive after a short time. But there are several reasons behind that. The bomb itself doesn't have much radioactive physical material for sure. It was also detonated way up in the air, so a lot of the radioation went up in the mushroom cloud anyway. But there was still contamination from rain that contained radiation in the following days I believe, and those things did get contaminatined. And there were still a lot of side effects such as babies being born with effects due to the radiation so there were long term effects too. Anyway I'm not sure there is any promotion of the idea that the bombs leave the cities devastated for decades. Everyone knows the cities were rebuilt and people live there lol. It's public, open knowledge. There is no nefarious falsifying information in that sense. The misconception among average people like me that they leave them in radioactive fallout for decades is more an unintentional happening because people get mixed up with Chernobyl or other radioactive reactors, and the effects of radiation and atomic energy are definitely not exaggerated there because that place stayed radioactive for decades. But those have a lot of actual radioactive physical materials which cause that too. I'm not even trying to argue but besides, the whole point of the bomb isn't the fallout but the massiveness of the bomb itself. There is no conventional fire bomb that would do that lol. Why would they falsify information about the fallout to make it scary, the size of the explosion itself is scary enough lol and would do that for them. Besides nuclear fallout is definitely real and happens in the case of reactors for example. But the bomb was equal to 20,000 tons of dynamite. The amount of energy that gets released in nuclear fission and fusion is enormous. It's why our sun is powered. There is no falsifying or skewing information there, it's just, as Oppenheimer and the other scientists would say, a fact of nature. Of the Tao. Making it scary or not is up to the individual. Anyway, the movie is not even about that, it's more about Oppenheimer the man and his life, how he led the making of the bomb, the team, and the impact it all had on him as a person. Anyway I'm not trying to argue brother/sister, I just thought I'd try to clarify some stuff because spreading confusion and fear is wrong. I definitely understand where you're coming from and why you said it though.

It's important to understand the big picture and context...Arjuna is a great warrior but he's hesitant to fight because his great grandfather who he held in great respect, his own Guru (Drona) and several others are stacked up against him in the opposite side who he'd have to kill. So suddenly comes to brief when this reality dawns on him. He wonders what victory would eventually bring about. It's when Krishna ( who knew this was all going to happen and decided before hand to become his charioteer) steers Arjuna through his confusion and maze and that's how the greatest scripture of all time Bhagavad Gita is born. Bhagawan Krishna explains Karma Yoga, Gnana Yoga and various things to Arjuna. In all there are 18 chapters in the Bhagavad Gita. It starts with Arjuna's dilemma in chapter 1 and Sri Krishna speaks for the first time in Chapter 2. In the Chapter 10, Arjuna asks to understand Krishna's manifestations in various forms and chapter 11 he asks to see Krishna's universal form known as Vishwaroopa ( the Universal form). Arjuna is bewildered to see Sri Krishna in the universal form and pleads with him to return back to his usual form. This verse quoted by Oppenheimer is what comes as verse 32 in Chapter 11 where Krishna explains that the universe acts according to its own cycle and viewed in that context He is the great Kala and it swallows all beings in course of time.

I can say that this can be a very apt and accurate explanation of what might be in the mind of Oppenheimer. . Lord shows his world form in which he shows how everyone was ultimately destined to their death or they r sinking in deadly jaws of time(Kala) , so whether Arjuna kills anybody or not, they were already killed by the divine in time (Kala). Oppenheimer probably represented when he says I m become death is the same as Krishna says Arjuna if u don't kill , they r already killed as I m their destiny ( thru his world form). Its just my interpretation, may be right or wrong. 👌 Excellent video with full of knowledge

Or, as Tennyson put it, "Their's not to question why ..." 2. Silicon Valley & AI. It is Google's (and Microsoft, and ...) Karma to develop AI. They cannot shy away from it. Besides could it not be that the universal consciousness is working thru these companies (also computer science departments) to express itself in vast distributed networks of sensors, actuators, and computing devices.

Einstein and Oppenheimer were so worried about the Germans winning that they felt they had to. Maybe that is why he felt like Arjuna. As to this idea that our fates are a set thing, where does free will come in? In some cases, are we not responsible for our choices?

Your free will dictates how much Dharma you would partake in, and how much earthly pleasure you would partake in. There needs to be a balance, but for every person that balance threshold is different. Your freewill dictates that level of balance.

@@dragonstormdipro1013 Now here is the kicker, have you always had that feeling that you are not doing the things that you are "freely doing by your own will"?. This accounts for why even successful people "feel lonely" with "no freedom", and only thru meditation and breathwork can we truly "control and ignore" this monkey disturbance. It has felt like this my whole life, the feeling that i know that i can change my fate but it is "unchangeable". I have a theory that all our realms all intertwined simultaneously and we have already done our dharma by being in existence. We simply "forgot we had already lived thru this countless of times" since infinity is not logically tangible to be "remembered". Nothing ever stops vibrating in science. The beginning is the same as the end. I think the dharma is simply a way to tell us this, to just "be".
