I'd like to think that the creator, Aka Akasaka, addressed the fans that he had found an ending for Oshi No Ko not because he was going to end it abruptly but because he is proud of his creation. Finding an ending for a series doesn't necessarily mean it will end so abrupt, I don't think the fans have much to worry about as an amazing creator like Aka Akasaka, will most certainly not disappointed. Though in the uncanny event that he does end the series to just one session I'm most certain it will go out with a splash of multiple feelings and overall a great time. In any case it doesn't make sense to end the series with so much lore and story that hasn't quite been displayed yet! I look forward to the new episodes if any!

Compared to Kaguya-sama, Oshi No Ko has a premise where one can't easily add an excuse on how the set goal gets postponed. Kaguya-sama could always have been expanded as the goal was forcing the other to confess and the comedic aspect on how long it actually took made the anime work. Oshi No Ko however focusses mainly on a revenge mission in a cruel world of entertainment and is slowly nearing the point Aqua wanted to reach. If additional arcs/chapters get added, they might be backstories or rather the child years of Aqua and Ruby.

Idk why people are panicking. As long as the ending is good thats all that matters, i dont want it to drag out, otherwise it turns into a cash grab, loses its charm and the product feels awful. With a good ending itll make us more emotional and ultimately more happy. Everything comes to an end, appreciate that end, it has more meaning meaning that forever

I mean, the movie arc is just about to begin and if it follows the same story progression as Love is War in terms of chapters made after the announcement, the movie arc would be just as long if not longer than the Tokyo Blade arc which btw has more than 30 chapters alone. I assume the manga to have 2-3 more arcs after the movie arc as we would get to see the outcome of Aqua's long awaited revenge plan which will either fail or succeed BUT at the cost of Aqua losing someone who is close to him.

I'm not panicking. The story is not ending any time soon. All the author has said on the matter is that he finally planned out how he is gonna end the story. As a result, I am quite relived. Because when I'm reading stories I find to be entertaining, I'm always afraid that at some point the author will disappoint me. In this case, I now know the author is satisfied with the direction of their writting and is fully committed to finishing their vision till the end.

So him choosing to defy society & common morality just to be with ruby for a vague promise made to a dying kid, is unrealistic & illogical. Especially since surprisingly, he has been someone with quite high moral standards so far when it comes to romance/relationships.

Here's the thing. I read those extra 60 chapters for Love is War and loved it, they even squeezed in an extra arc So it's safe to say that maybe an extra, maximum, 60-80 chapters are set before the ending chapters. I have to yet start reading it since it didn't catch my attention when I read Love is War, but after watching it, definitely need to read it
