Good theory Sanak. It would be a very interesting angle to explore. I remember reading the books when they came out and Rae Sloane was a stand out for sure. If they were aware of Cobb Vanth then is certainly possible that Rae Sloane can make it to live action/animation. Many of us are eager to delve deeper into the era of the Sequels. MTFBWY!

Thank you! Rae Sloane already has made it to video games with Star Wars: Squadrons, so I think they're just being very cautious about making anything stick with the Mando-verse ongoing. Let comics and novels at elast fill in the period post-Jakku and pre-Mando!

There are so many great points throughout this video. Many people think Dave knocks characters down a notch or two to make them look better by the end when the character moves to live-action from books. However, Thrawn has never been any good against Jedi. Among his peers, he's superior. Against enemies, he uses their history and culture against them, predicting their moves. The Jedi are too unpredictable. He did that with Sabine in her Mandalorian training but can come her sitting around and not doing anything. However, some skills he left on the table come from ancient training practices that one would use instinctively. So, yes, we see it as him knocking down the characters a bit, but it doesn't bother me. People can let it bother them, or they can adjust their dismissal of it as a feasible reduction in memory. I used to do math in my head, but since not using it since 2000, I don't. Getting older sux.

Great perspective there- Thrawn in many ways is well suited with his unique cadre of tactics, but in some ways he's playing at a game the Jedi have mastered and always will have the upper hand in.

I hope they do that, that frees up Thrawn to fight the Grysk….

Zahn has mentioned writing books set before Thrawn's Ahsoka appearance (would love oqt see his take on Ezra!), but what if he writes the equivalent of a Hand of Thrawn duology for the Grysk conflict? Idk how Thrawn makes it out of his campaign on the New Republic in Canon as well!

I head canon that farro is the founder of the canon hand of Thrawn

Wasn't Snoke just Palp's meat suit?
@starwarslads11 ай бұрын
Not exactly, no. He was intended to be a strandcast made from Palpatine's cells and other genetic material the Sith Eternal thought best to mix in, but upon seeing that body Palpatine is said to have rejected it. Instead of a total takeover, he let Snoke do whatever he wanted while planting ideas and goals that he could oversee from afar and intervene when needed. Sort of like he subcontracted the work out and checked in at key milestones.
