To work is good we learn through work too, before graduating from engineering I already had work experience, my last job I was a HVAC certified technician and was making good money, the experience adquired helped me to get a good job . In Mexico you will find a lot is students working , some companies and small businesses offer part time jobs.

@@SimplyRusty" your mum " is saying the parents don't let their sons work until finish college, in México, most students want to work , also in order to get the bachelor certificate we have to complete a minimum time of Profesional Practices and Social Services , nobody can escape to that also Some high schools in addition to the academic classes give us the opportunity to get additional classes to prepare us to work if we want or need , For example I was a certified Electrical Technician before started University classes . Majority Age in Mexico is legally reached at 18 and it's nice have our own income and no ask our parents everytime we need money.
@SimplyRusty4 жыл бұрын
@@JorgeClavero thats becoz of wages that we get even if you work full.time jobs in resturant and malls you will get get less than 300 USD for a month 300 that too in big cities it's useless to work these jobs in India , I prefer to work online . Culture and wages here are too different , I have seen far too many waiters living in states even with cars well you can't do that in India but with proper job everthing thing is really cheap even burger King here is like 10 times cheap ...so yeah
@JorgeClavero4 жыл бұрын
@@SimplyRusty here some businesses like restaurants , etc give part time jobs to students, buy when I was student I had the same issue you are saying , I realized I could make more money in Freelance activities because those jobs don't pay much, so I used to teach and I was also freelance Electric Technician , so I was able to buy a used car . Profesional Practices are different, those needs to be approved by the University because they want to make sure the job we will perform is related with the bachelor degree we want to achieve, so I did my practices in 2 places Power Company and IT department in a bank.

In the Khasi tribe of Meghalaya, the parents stay with the youngest daughter and the husband comes and stay in the wife's house as it is believed that no matter how good the daughter in law is, it's the daughter who will take care of the parents better. The youngest daughter is also the custodian of the family's property and upon the death of her parents receive the major share of the property and wealth as a token of appreciation for taking care of the parents in their old age. And why does the youngest daughter have to take care of the parents, because by the time the parents grow old, the eldest daughter would have started to grow old too. The youngest daughter would still have enough of energy to take care of the parents. The men are respected in their wife's house as the main daily bread earner and provider and protector in the wife's house and also as the uncle in his parents house who is to manage his parents property and support his sisters in deciding various clan matters. And yes dowry is non-existent in their dictionary as usually both parents work and provide for their children. A wife may be a temporary house wife only when she has recently given birth and is weaning. Life is very hard in the hills, so no other way out but for both parents to earn a living. Children also take the titles of their mothers and not their father's. It is one of the last surviving and practising matrilineal system which predates the patriarchy system.

So he leaves home at 8:50 so that he'll be in his office by 9, but when returning, he'd be engrossed in his work so much that he'll come by 6,7,8 or sometimes even 9 pm. His moral lessons are actually coupled with his own actions to emphasize it. Growing up seeing this dedication has hopefully made dedication a way of life for me :) Setbacks shouldn't sway you from dedication and hardwork.

But yeah respect all people treat everyone kindly but just because someone is older doesn't mean they are necessarily right.

I believe the values presented in the video are pretty much universal values , most parents want their children to grow successful, I studied in a Catholic school and I did see much difference on the values I was taught with some exceptions like we slept with our parents only when we were babies in a baby cradle , and later we had our own room but my parents have access to it at any time, another difference as Nash said we are taught to be independent and if we want to get married we need to get our own house, no many Mexican girls are willing to accept proposal to get married if a guy said , "we will get married and then we will move to my parents house" . On TV content, in México we have the 2 scenarios , dedicated parents that limit the time and content of kids in TV and internet and encourage other activities like , reading, sports or arts, and the lazy parents or Unfortunately ignorant ones that keep the kids busy with the TV or violent videogames. Another difference, we are not allowed to play with the food at anytime, we were educated to eat on the table no junk food or candies before main meals, we were not allowed to watch cartoons before finishing homework or performing sport activities. But I used to watch bugs 🐰 bunny, lol. I was taught to respect older people and every body else , I have noticed that my Indian friends are afraid of talking with other Indians in the streets if they are older , this video explains a little the reason of that. They are surprissed that I can approach to any Mexican while traveling to say hi and some times talk a little regardless age or gender.

the best thing taught in india from parent is respect each and every person say "namaste" 🙏 to every person who are elder than u love ur siblings and make ur fparent and sibling best frnd also we are very much open from our parents also if the child is yound in age or teenage they can live with the parents in same room as its optional but most of the indian childrens like siblings live together in same room sharing same bed and blankets . also we go to same school so that if younger sibling get any issue the teavher complains elder one . and also the parents go to ptm at same time without any difficult also intead of indoor games we prefer go outdoor games watch less tv videos yeah video games becuz when we are kid parents always says one thing that watching tv is not good for health and eyes also brain it harms u better go outside and play . 😅 also if we tal about shopping when we were kid its too obvious every kid needs lot of toys but our parents says no to most of the toys or things which makes us lazy becaz if u buy too much toys what u do u just sit in the hiuse or play so this is what our parents dont want also they teach about savings of money and the importance becauz in india we indian childrens love to grab knowledge so much that we opt too many different subjects to study and for that its obvious u need money 😅 also when we are in the age of marriage before that our parents need to be settle down childrens career so that there children spend there own happy life with his wife and family. becauz in india we need huge amount of money for wedding . indian heavy wedding 🙏NAMASTE 🙏 thank you

I am an Indian ... other than sleeping with mom until 7 = yes. I got separate room when I was 13. financial control = yes. I can’t relate to anything else.. and until we marry we will be in same house because they feel it’s their responsibility to marry kids. Some guys stay with parents even after marriage = leads to issues in marital life!! Festivals also play a large part in family values . And we have lot of festivals and celebrated with all cousins and all.

I am an indian.....just for correction we really love tom and Jerry and some also sleep with their parents till 16 or 14 and that's normal...but now days things r getting influenced from western culture And ya....pocket money is of use here....becoz parents permission is must to buy..and about carrier part most parents r not like that and the fact before the child learns to speak is just fake
