Being a son and also a father of two, I agree with most of the points mentioned in the video, except that most of the urban kids don't work until they finish their graduation. Its true in rural areas, that kids start helping in fields and in kitchen from very young age but not in urban areas. I wish they could do part time jobs like those in western countries.

The beauty is for Indian parents its always their child first. Their children's happiness is their happiness. If the children achieve something in life they feel they have achieved it. Specially the mother son bonding is soooo strong. And the most important thing is if the children's stomach is full you can see it in her and if they don't eat and skip meals they are the most dangerous psychos you get to see 🤣🤣🤣🤣

This make India look model parenting.😂 Kindly do not have that impression. This is not the general scenario. this is not followed by all parents, nor is everything followed by one family. This is just a compilation of one or two or five values followed by many parents. But surely all these methods do fall in the list of commonly seen in india.

I’m an Indian American. Not only did my kids watch Tom & Jerry, Flintstones, Ducktales everyday along with Sesame Street, Thomas, Mr. Rogers but I watched along with them. Thank God they turned out great. One thing we had was my in-laws living with us, so they grew up with four loving adults. My mother in law was so good to my kids and they have not only love but also reverence for them.

the point about no favorite student. that only applies till 6th or 7th grade. the teachers only pay attention to only those students who score more than average to show that they taught better thats why they scored better (ignored the students personal effort). those who score averahe or less only get terchers negligence. and handwriting is most important because if handwriting is bad then even if answer is perfect out of 5 they only get 2 or 3. if handwriting is good the mistakes are ignored and those students get 5 out of 5 with mistakes in answer.

This video mostly has westernized-vague idea of how parenting is done here. I don't mean to say everything shown is wrong, but mostly. For example the first point of kids not being allowed to watch cartoons but only educational videos thats a total B.S. I'm 30 now, I remember growing up watching only Cartoon Network(OG). If you really want to know how it is done. You should personally see it for yourself.
