I could actually relate to a lot of things. 1. I slept with my mom until I could. 2. Never got bullied in school or college. In fact, I got introduced to bullying after I started watching Hollywood. 3. Got my first android/ Smartphone in 2nd year of college. 4. Got warning from father for doing good in exams, but never got scolded after results. He just says, 'work harder next time'. 5. Still scared of my father. Like seriously scared. :D

I don't know why foreign kids see it so "uncool" or " crybaby habits " when we sleep with our parents in the same room. Or walk with them hand in hand or just do anything. In India, this doesn't mean that you are a wimpy crybaby. Nobody has that sort of mentality to judge on that . People just see that you are with your parents and that you love your parents. Idk why western countries have that sorta stereotypes. I'll walk hand in hand with my parents even if I'm 30 or 40 y/O. That isn't going to change

@@kamalikroy35 lol then why do change their citizenship? You really can't claim them for ourselves after they change it, their loyalty is to the nation that they hold their allegiance too. Most Indian ceos are NRI who left the country in search of jobs. You say that but the unemployment rate is going up in India and not just because of the pandemic. Plenty of youth don't have jobs and are still living off their parents. Would they ever return? Most likely not, face it, quality of life is much better in the west, it's a fact, no matter the amount of nationalism we jerk off too, instead of doing that, actually need to question the governments decision, raise your voice at injustice, not just sit around and say it is okay, and never be settled for anything less than perfect.

I born and brought up in India and now living in England and the difference I found in parenting is that here we teach to our children more about their rights even in schools but my parents taught me more about my duties. It's not just my parents mostly parents prefer this teaching in India, the reason behind this is that if someone would fulfil his or her duties then will get rights. Personally I think it is helpful to develop a strong and civil personality.

@@tanayanayak4805 Yes! Because in india We believe that parents are someone greater than god. And doesn't matter how old we have grown we are child of our parents. And it's TRUE. I wont deny that it became a bad thing, when they cant understand that their child can decide that what they have to do. .. Also we always remember that our moms have kept us in their womb for 9 months and our father have done everything for us, even sacrificed if needed.. And that's how we have been child of our parents and yes we always belong to them.

@@shreyashbharti5813 yeah, I agree with you. But parents just cannot accept the fact that their children have grown up and they need to face the world. Adults in India are so dependent on their parents that they can't even find their own life partners, they rely on their parents for that. And no, children do not belong their parents once they've grown up, they need to establish their own identity.

My father didn't get cable/satellite tv, because he didn't want our brains to be rotten. So, from 2003 (when I was born) till 2016, I hadn't watched any cartoon or anything for more than 15 mins. And in between that time, Because of no other source of entertainment, I started reading, and that developed into a serious habit, and I am using that reading habit till now! Ofc, me and my sis were angry on them for not getting it, but, I now realise how much my brain developed because I didn't have those shit around me. I can clearly see the difference between my brain and the brains of my friends who had been treated to all kinds of entertainment since they were very small.
