Wow, this video came out of nowhere and made my day! Thank you so much for the heartwarming review!! I'm glad you liked the game so much and you're spreading the love! While it definitely went a bit under the radar considering its production quality & story, I still consider Path of the Midnight Sun a great success for a first indie project and our team is hard at work on updates and even a new game. I'm always glad to see that there are new people enjoying the game, and it's always very fun talking about the story & characters with them! Thank you for pointing out those 4 difficulty spikes as well, I'm already taking care of them since other people reported the same concerns. As of v.2.2, the player will have more tools in their arsenal to deal with status ailments, and Wide Guard will be nerfed too (the user will have way less HP and the protection will become x0.4 instead of x0.25). Metro series. That game is so underrated and the attention goes to fallout which is have the same concept, Nuclear fallout. Ender Lilies, just like hollow knight and it's a good game for Metroidvania gamers. Reverse 1999, I like it since im a huge lore and story telling games lol. And a sad one too Girl frontline (the 1st one), The story is just tragic and sad. That's it.

16:50 You say that when one of the first dialogue choices in the game, about Suzaku's name, was giving an answer as Marth or Dio. And while at it, the iron sword description references the "trained edged weapon" VHS which is some sort of insider video about what american police thinks knives and other "weapons" can and are used with, like that tape feels surreal to think that someone thought this is how real humans operated or use weapons for and with, and it's hilarious! So yeah, the game is somewhat self aware, and I'm ok with that!

Somehow this was in my wishlist and I have no memory of it at all. It doesn’t seem like I’ve watched any KZbin videos about it or anything, either. I don’t like visual novels, either, so without knowing this was a cross between vn and another genre I’d have dismissed it if I came across it on my own (I like 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, for instance, which is sort of a visual novel, but enough of an actual game to be worthwhile) Do I have jrpg-protagonist amnesia?

First of all its a game im really enjoying watching a playthrough of so far. Really its like a high octane italian fire emblem and i, who grew up with fire emblem but want to move on, really enjoy that. Second faratras's tits look really nice in the thumbnail, so thats awesome
