Paula Bedford talks with Jae Gruenke, founder of The Balanced Runner,™ about how she thought her knee pain and instability might mean the end of ultrarunning for her, and how she eventually completed a 100 mile race well under 24 hours and feeling good.
She describes her experiences with Jae’s online running form coaching-what the process was like, how long it took for her pain to resolve completely, and the unexpected effect that using the Feldenkrais Method to improve her running form had on her life.

That book is what got me into ultrarunning! We definitely have a lot in common. My longest race last year was 140km and this year I will be doing my first 100 miler. Last year I also did 2x 100kms and mountain 65km and a few 50kms (and marathons, trail halfs etc). One of my favourite races are ones that go by time rather than distance.
