Lol I learned PBL from this tutorial and it took me two weeks. Just ignore the number, I only learned about 40 short algs.
@yeet32793 жыл бұрын
@@OxzowachiAlt did you actually learn it that fast, how much did you practise daily on average?
@OxzowachiAlt3 жыл бұрын
@@yeet3279 I did learn it in two weeks, which was largely helped by the fact that I was on vacation for one of those weeks. I watched 1-2 videos a day, and in the car I would just practice the new concepts I learned. After learning all of them, I started doing an insane amount of solves (like 5k+ per month for 3 months) which took my global from ~15 to 8.5.
@samwexler19195 жыл бұрын
What’s harder to learn in your opinion? PBL or CSP?
@CubeMasterYT5 жыл бұрын
I think PBL is easier to learn because the concept isn't too hard to grasp, but PBL is definitely much harder to perfect than CSP, because CSP is just doing one alg with 15 seconds of inspection while PBL is two algs with no inspection

I'm going to be honest, a lot of PBL algs are much easier than EP algs, but yeah you should probably learn EP first

Can every PBL be solved with 2 algs?
@CubeMasterYT5 жыл бұрын
Yep, all of them be solved with 2 algs and still 10 slices or less, excluding parity cases :)
@randomizedcuber30735 жыл бұрын
@@CubeMasterYT ok, what should I do for the parity cases rather than learn csp?

Parity doesn't really work with this PBL method, which is why I recommend learning CSP first

What do you think about OBL?
@CubeMasterYT5 жыл бұрын
My main problem with OBL is that you would have to pause more than PBL, and you can barely lookahead during CS while you can lookahead during EO for PBL. OBL saves a ton of moves, but I think it is not worth the pause, and it is only worth it if you can somehow predict it during CS.

@CubeMasterYT5 жыл бұрын
This sheet should tell you what to do for every case: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1bLhYXaW1HGGTypOQGOJvnS2L40gKXHlbc8zJ3ZXYeTE/edit?usp=sharing, under the 2nd and 3rd tabs on the bottom. For your base though, I would align the J perm block and hold its headlights to the right and do N/J, then do N/N

@Square-one1237 ай бұрын
Sorry bro he didn’t reply and it’s kinda late. However I would recommend increasing SPS and improving recognition by grinding solves. You’ll definitely be able to get sub 16, and if you want to do better than that learn CSP. It’s so much easier to learn than PBL.
