I am Nursery Plant Farmer and Live on my farm near Mumbai, India. When I got my PRV after a 6 year wait, I was over joyed. When my Visiting British( gorah) friend came to my farm home. I told him that I got my Canadian PRV. But he was surprisingly sad. And asked me " Its Cold out there, why you want to go there, and over at my farm Warmth is free " I really never appreciated that warmth is free at my Palghar, Maharashtra, farm. Then when We arrived in Canada and went to meet my wife's friend I casually showed the Photos of my farms Plant collection. One Canadian friend said when she saw the photos, she said " I don't think you will leave your farm and come here" Somehow Her utterances came true. It's 12 years I am still in India and my family is in Canada. My is PRV is expired. I will apply for renewal on humanitarian and Compassionate grounds. If i live here I miss my family If I go there I will miss being with all my plants. I don't have that much money to make a huge green house Dome in Canada where I can keep all my plants and live there.

I am a Canadian citizen now and lived here for 10+ years. Also, lived in the US (4+ years) and UK (3 years). This video covers major issues in Canada. I like to add other factors based on my personal and other Indian colleagues and friends experiences in these countries. Cons: Highest in Canada, then UK, and then the US. I have a PhD and Postdoc experiences in the Top #1-3 Rank universities in Canada, UK, and the US, and the work experiences are of mine and other people at these institutions. Work opportunities: Discrimination based on the race, gender, religion (Sikhs and Muslims watch out!) and appearance (height, looks, etc.) will dictate getting a job, security, and promotion in R&D and managerial jobs. Immigrants are most to suffer from low salary, long work hours, low job security, burnout, depression, etc. The US IT sector has more opportunities as long as you can move (my spouse changed 7 jobs in 2-3 years and we had to move to different states/cities with a 1 month old baby). Other sectors like R&D are hard to get jobs but they are long-term jobs and do not have to move! Healthcare: Health care in the US especially in big cities is best in the world but it is accessible only if you have a great insurance plan from your work. Otherwise, no one cares! Canada basic (not everything) health care is free but it takes months/years to get a doctor at the beginning, and after that they simply ignore their patients since they get paid no matter what. It is free and useless! In the UK, medical professions are more empathetic and very efficient to solve the critical health problems. Patients get discharge soon after surgeries since they don't have budget/beds/staff, etc. Cost of living: Do not change country until the recession is over. Without Financial Credit History (must in US & Canada), renting or buying house, credit card, car rent/buy, etc. become even more expensive and new immigrants will not be able to cope.

Problem in Canada is jobs are very limited. I received Canadian PR in 2016 but decided to stay in US, since I had studied in US and was working in US, I had social circle there and also little to no opportunity in Canada. In 2019, I decided to relocate to India but couldn't adjust, I reapplied for Canadian PR came to Canada in December 2021, just for the Canadian passport. As I realized I cannot adjust back in India, and US won't give me its PR for at least 2 to 3 decades due to backlog for Indians. I already gave interviews in India, and came to Canada with good job in hand which pays quite well, it's in my field at high level but not the work I did earlier. For example, suppose I am working in railway industry but in my past all my experience was in designing tunnels and how feasible is a railway line. Now it is like how to lay tracks, what plates to use. This was just an example to show my field in Canada is same but domain is different. And very limited jobs in Canada for my domain, most calls I get is from US. Regarding spending money on expensive, unfortunately most of our North Indian brothers run on show-off. I make base of 170K CAD in Toronto but still find car of $40,000 expensive. But many people I know barely make $120K in Toronto and have purchased car worth 70 or 80K.
@harshalgaikwad86692 жыл бұрын
Base of 170K?? That's not just "paying quite well"! You alone are above most household incomes in Toronto.. Which role you work in bro?
@rohanbansal95632 жыл бұрын
@@harshalgaikwad8669 I work in a niche occupation. Even in India I was getting base of 40 lacs. The only reason I came to Canada was after spending a decade in US (Student + work), adjusting back in Indian system was a mess. I am in chip design. Many people make much more than me. Masters + 5 years of experience people in Amazon Toronto makes base of 180k+, along with stocks and variable of another 50K or so per year.

In my view if someone is really hardworking then they have lot of opportunities in India even. India is not like ten-twenty year’s back India. @HariSankerV Жыл бұрын
It is blanket statements like this which make people in India think the western world is perfect. I have seen neighbourhoods in the UK which are as bad as India. Also the whole of India is not unclean, there are many areas which are as clean as developed countries. Also, you might want to check out the situations in Indonesia, Philippines, Nigeria etc. India is definitely not the "worst in the universe". It is not fair to compare a low income developing country with Western Europe or North America. I am in no way arguing that India is clean in general. Of course, it has a long way to go. But your statement is hyperbole.
