At least you are telling truth otherwise those who come to India do not talk about their suffering and hardships they only talk about pros and people here start believing that they are the happiest and luckiest people on the earth which is not the case. And this thing leads to craziness to leave the country. Hope people will get to know the reality from you video.

Getting a new job is very competitive here and I feel like I am living on paycheck to paycheck. Can’t even save enough for down payment. You only get rich here if you have your own business or drive a truck. Your whole salary will go towards your house/rent, taxes,401K and groceries and gas. No savings 🥺

A Simple logic to consider,be it any other country apart from canada-Earning overseas and being settled in India,is the real deal, else no matter how many US or canadian dollars,or any other currency one earns, each penny will be hard to spend in the same country one earns them.In a way, advantage of having a weak currency, but yes,we still do have to pay a price.

I am Nursery Plant Farmer and Live on my farm near Mumbai, India. When I got my PRV after a 6 year wait, I was over joyed. When my Visiting British( gorah) friend came to my farm home. I told him that I got my Canadian PRV. But he was surprisingly sad. And asked me " Its Cold out there, why you want to go there, and over at my farm Warmth is free " I really never appreciated that warmth is free at my Palghar, Maharashtra, farm. Then when We arrived in Canada and went to meet my wife's friend I casually showed the Photos of my farms Plant collection. One Canadian friend said when she saw the photos, she said " I don't think you will leave your farm and come here" Somehow Her utterances came true. It's 12 years I am still in India and my family is in Canada. My is PRV is expired. I will apply for renewal on humanitarian and Compassionate grounds. If i live here I miss my family If I go there I will miss being with all my plants. I don't have that much money to make a huge green house Dome in Canada where I can keep all my plants and live there.

Its been a month now I’m in CA. Tbh, initial 20 days were miserable and later I eventually started achieving (basics) what I wanted.. A beautiful private accommodation , a job, though its a labour job only but its giving me immense pleasure as the people working with me are so good.. and mostly all of them are born and brought up in Canada. Lastly I want to mention about managing your own meals.. It is the most important factor which you face when you land in Canada. I’ve been eating frozen meals and paranthas from 3 weeks and thinking to start getting a tiffin service just to avoid eating processed food everyday.

I am a Canadian citizen now and lived here for 10+ years. Also, lived in the US (4+ years) and UK (3 years). This video covers major issues in Canada. I like to add other factors based on my personal and other Indian colleagues and friends experiences in these countries. Cons: Highest in Canada, then UK, and then the US. I have a PhD and Postdoc experiences in the Top #1-3 Rank universities in Canada, UK, and the US, and the work experiences are of mine and other people at these institutions. Work opportunities: Discrimination based on the race, gender, religion (Sikhs and Muslims watch out!) and appearance (height, looks, etc.) will dictate getting a job, security, and promotion in R&D and managerial jobs. Immigrants are most to suffer from low salary, long work hours, low job security, burnout, depression, etc. The US IT sector has more opportunities as long as you can move (my spouse changed 7 jobs in 2-3 years and we had to move to different states/cities with a 1 month old baby). Other sectors like R&D are hard to get jobs but they are long-term jobs and do not have to move! Healthcare: Health care in the US especially in big cities is best in the world but it is accessible only if you have a great insurance plan from your work. Otherwise, no one cares! Canada basic (not everything) health care is free but it takes months/years to get a doctor at the beginning, and after that they simply ignore their patients since they get paid no matter what. It is free and useless! In the UK, medical professions are more empathetic and very efficient to solve the critical health problems. Patients get discharge soon after surgeries since they don't have budget/beds/staff, etc. Cost of living: Do not change country until the recession is over. Without Financial Credit History (must in US & Canada), renting or buying house, credit card, car rent/buy, etc. become even more expensive and new immigrants will not be able to cope.

very nice presentation. I came to england, studied my masters, I traveled across quite a few places in western Europe, and then realised that there is no other better place than India for a comfortable living. I have seen the hardships of developed countries, and of India as well, but there is something in India which makes that place so good, and that's the same reason, why invaders through out the world came to this place to gain in some or the other way.

Nice informative video. Like that it is transparent about the challenges of moving to a new country Couple points that I have noticed and would like to emphasize are: 1) You need to be ready to put in elbow grease/work physically. If you have been a spoilt brat back home then it's a given that living or studying in another country (where house-help is not available ) will be hard 2) Cost of living and taxes are higher. But these also facilitate better standard of living. 3) Flexibility matters in case of options/ choices in Food, accessories, necessities, work skills. Growing up if you have done chores, internships, picked up other associated skills will help in some way or the other in the long run: be it in socializing, finding work opportunities, volunteering

My son and daughter in law moved to Canada about 2 years ago on PR. Both of them are having MBA degree from a reputed management college and were working in MNC's in India. Initial period was very tough for them and even my son had to work in Wallmart for few days as helper for livelihood. Now both of them are working for reputed companies in Canada, and are easily managing their own house, 2 Cars and best life in Alberta despite high interest rates, minus 40 degree peak temperature and inflation. Guys before moving have a big heart to adjust yourself in adverse situations.

Marvellous inputs. I lived in Germany for over a decade and saw the winters there, which is rather mild by canadian winter standards and last just three months. I returned to India and wouldn't want to get back to live permanently in Germany or Canada, even for a million dollars. 😄

I agreed with her about Medical services...most of the western countries hospital's are bad. I stay in Australia for 5 years and the hospital's service are very slow have to wait long time. My husband have to wait for more 3 months just to check his teeth at Dentist. It is the same for New Zealand. My home country Malaysia medical services are better than Australia. Now my family's are back to Malaysia and we are happy here. My husband friends living in Canada also mentioned the same problem. It is better to stay in our home country if u have to suffer all that problems.

Many of my friends are leaving, and I'm thinking about it. Taxes are very high, Cost of living is very high, impossible to buy an apartment or a house, even a 100K CAD a year you'll still poor. Also the Canadian currency is lower comparing to US dollar or to Euro.

First thing most newcomers do, is to acquire a brand new car and take it for a spin without knowing the dangers and rules of the land they are in. My advice - focus on your goals, not on shiny objects. Build a foundation and move up, and you will never go wrong.
