i was actually thinking about this. i reckon my issue is the practice side, the 1 hour a day does seem feasible however. tutorial hell is also real

I am in the process of teaching myself coding. I started with web development and now understand the fundamentals of HTML and am learning CSS. I have built some static web pages. I assume that next week I will start learning Java Script and maybe three months later I will learn Python and later C. Trying to solve problems has taught me a great deal about coding.

That's great bro! Just learn the fundamentals from each language you want to learn and just start building projects. Good luck in your journey!

So according to you Sir.... you said to solidify the fundamentals with 3 core programming languages... I think those 3 can be C++, Java, Python and JavaScript?
@TheFullstackbro3 ай бұрын
Yes, whatever core languages you want to choose, learn the fundamentals. Practice small problems and build up to more complex. The key here is staying consistent to learn key concepts that will take you far.

Yeah fundamentals are really important. If you're like me who's still doesn't master the fundamentals, yet has started watching non-beginners tutorials, I think you will just wasting your time because you can't really grasp the more advanced concepts that the experts teach. Tame your ego and master the fundamentals first before venturing to more difficult endeavors. You will thank yourself.

@shafiq_ramli Ego is the enemy for a lot of beginners, which is holding them back from opportunities. I will do a video on this topic. Definitely great points, are you in the job market now?
