Shwetabh , It's not just about media iteration but also about govt. funding. Two of my brothers left basketball bcz there was no future and they were national players. One of my cousin left tennis bcz of dirty politics while selection and trainings where even your coach is corrupted , he dedicated his prime years in to this and lost everything , went in to depression. Sports except cricket is very wild topic in India. My mother was a national basketball player back in 80's and she had to leave bcz of politics , nepotism and absolute zero support from govt and top of that women's basketball (which was a joke for that generation). And above all of the things , treatment given to players and general mentality of society around sports player. Back in 2021 or 2022 when neeraj chopra won the medal for india , he was awarded a govt position (not sure but a central govt job) , I have literally heard people getting pissed off ki usko bina exam diye wo post kaise dedi , hum itne saal gava dete h padhayi me etc etc . But that was the least motivational factor given by govt. for a middle class man to invest time and money in to sports. Those sports player have invested their entire life to sports , once they retire they probably don't anywhere else to go.

Shwetabh bhaiyaaaaa attack mode se inactive ho gaya hu completely , bohot try kr raha hu phirse continue use karne ka, but 1-2 din use kr leta hu and phirse bhool jata hu use karna attack mode ko. And task complete nhi hua to disappoint ho jata hu isiliye mind bhi notion app se door jata h. But agar iss tarah se value banane me burai nhi hai, toh phir wo bachha Jo aajkal Maharaj ghumte phir Raha hai, usme bhi kuch burai nhi hai. Maybe uske parents ne kiya, but phir bhi kya problem hai ? Agar bikna hi hai toh koi bhi beeke aur kaise bhi beeke , there shouldn't be any problem. Problem tab hoga, jab we will realise that most of these people rely on advertisment and depend on the people who are full time working in organised sector because they are the real consumers ( be it products or data ). Toh agar sirf aise log hi banenge , aur aise logo ko glorify karenge, then the society will eventually fall.
