So they illegally left, hired a human smuggler, children were sent into labor, they didn't want to stay in the neighboring country 🤔 and they are seen as brave

That's a pretty twisted way to frame it. They were being persecuted for the beliefs. The greatest punishment they would face in England was banishment, yet leaving the country was illegal. In that era all children worked. There was persecution in Holland as well due to English influence, and the threat of Spanish invasion. And they certainly were brave, considering how many of them died the first winter, and how they shouldn't have been surprised, looking at recent history of other attempts.
