Thanks for the info but this video clearly has a massive reformed (calvinist) bias. The reformation is not the reformed-ation. No, not all protestants ended up accepting spiritual presence, both Lutherans and Anglicans (2/3 of the Reformation) did not accept this because of Christological issues (concerning the natures of Christ). While this video was informative I remind the reformed to stop pretending like every magisterial protestant believes what they believe and that they are the mainstream.

They were not "unarmed peaceful protesters"....they were armed also they never found the people who planted "bombs" around the area.....it was not the police fault this happened. If you were not narrating this video I wonder what people would think about what they were actually seeing. A mob trying to overthrow the government.

The late far-right radio provocateur Rush Limbaugh's likening of seditionists who stormed the grounds of the United States Capitol to the Founding Fathers truly made me so profoundly sick to my stomach.

I am a Democrat, but I have been made aware of how much the FBI operates in our life. It is definitely strange how few police officers were there that day. I tried to research it, but I really haven't come up with a very good reason as to why they were not there. The two men in charge of the capital security there, basically just said they didn't think there would be any major problems there that day, so security would not be necessary. Apparently they did not get too many briefings about the dangers that day before, except for one female analyst who did warn them that there could be problems. It is unclear why they did not get better warnings from Homeland Security and the FBI. Because it was pretty much common knowledge that there was going to be a big fuss there that day. Even I knew about it, just from reading regular KZbin comments lol. And the FBI didn't know? So this is what I think happened. I think the FBI was made aware of the January 6th protest at the Capitol beforehand.They were aware it was going to turn violent. They of course had many FBI informants in with that crowd. So they decided to allow the capital invasion to go forward. Because that way, they could arrest all those agitators for trespassing the capital. Isn't that odd they invaded the capital but no Senator was harmed? They couldn't find them? I think the Capitol Police kept the senators out of danger at all times. They knew they were not in danger. So yes it was definitely a double play. But Trump was the one who started it and planned it. But the FBI and the Democrats had a little fun with it that day, and used it to arrest the top maga agitators. That's what I think happened.

Shows how much smoke must have restricted the view in these battles - as if communication wasn't difficult already! Great smoke rings - I wonder if that is accurate?
@DiscerningHistory
@DiscerningHistory 6 күн бұрын
That was certainly a big factor, especially since at the real battles there would have been even more smoke, as reenactors usually use a reduced charge of powder. I know cannons at the time did produce smoke rings, but I'm not sure whether firing an actually cannon ball, rather than just powder, prevents them. Clips I've seen with projectiles fired with full charges don't have them.

The Second Beast of Rev. 13 ( United States of America ) will form an image to the First Beast of Rev. 13 ( Roman Catholic Church ) by making a Church/State Union and forcing all both small and great, rich and poor to receive the Papal Mark of the Beast( forced Sunday Worship ), thus shunning the 7th-day sabbath and the God who made it. Once again 7th-day sabbath keepers ( just as the Waldenses were cut=off from society and hunted down like wild animals), so also will commandment keepers have a no by not sell enacted against them and then a death decree issued against them. There is much more involved in this persecution of the sabbath keepers in the last days including Satan impersonating the return of Jesus Christ. Demon spirits or fallens angels impersonating pagan deities, religious leaders of all faiths and religions, even demon spirits impersonating dead loves to deceive the whole into false worship. Because of belief in the false doctrine of the immortality of the soul, practiced by almost all demoninations and religions, These miracle working demon or fallen angels will have great success in deceiving the whole world because of this false doctrine of the immortality of the soul. Ecc. 9:5,6 say that the dead know nothing and do not return to the realm of the living. Many, many people will be deceived because they don't have a love for the truth's of the bible, but stubbornly cling to false doctrine and by relying on their emotions, sight, taste and hearing. Your only safety is in taking the bible as it reads and practicing the truths as they are presented on the pages of truth. Learn much more at: swcministry.webnode.page

2:00 - Eh... As a Norwegian, no, just no. In totalt 50 men and 250 women were put to death in witch trials in Norway. They started as early as the 1100's. Yes, Norway had a law against "conspiring with trolls" in the 1100's. Formally we know of these laws from the late 1200's (Magnus Lagabøtes lov). Though, most common was to be sentenced to have to wander to holy places, like Ragnhild Tregagås had to. And, as in her case, it was rarely a merely "(s)he's a witch!"-sentence, it was far more often a more compound trial and sentence. And so, this tells me this person doesn't know what he's speaking of.

Rev John Greenwood (1558-1593) was one of the two men martyred following the defection by Brown. At about thirty years old, Greenwood had been influenced by Brown's writings as a seminarian -- so much so that he resigned his Anglican appointment as pastor for a London church and instead pastored the Underground Church there, for which he was imprisoned in Clink Prison where, after seven years he was unceremoneously hanged. His wife, also thirty seven fled to France, where she died from unknown causes within a year. They were my 11th Great Grandparents. His teenaged son , James Robert Greenwood's baptism -- or lack of -- had been a topic of the inquisition and was a witness to the brutality of all of this and , likely under pressure, later recanted and rejoined the High Church where he and his five children were all Baptisted. He lived in London reaching the ripe old age of ninety. His elder son, John Greenwood, (1619-1680) was named for his grandfather, also was a witness to all this, struck out alone at the age of sixteen and made passage to the Virginia Colony John settled among the Choanoke Tribe south of the English colonists in Jamestown and was adopted by these Algonquin speaking people into their community, given the new name John " Big Man" Spemica Elene of the Cornstalk Wind Clan. His native descendents, all Christian to the best of my knowledge, have likely forgotten these men and these events but still carry their name.

The puritans were the world's serial whiners and biggest hypocrites. They argued for purification, what that meant is expelling all english catholics, which King James wasnt willing to do to his own citizens. The puritans mailigned everything not hammered on their anvil. The instantly caused civil unrest in The Netherlands, openly debating people in public, and sowing sedition against the ruling body. Which then sent them packing. They also heavily persecuted the quakers, and other groups executing many people not aligned with their messed up worldview. While the Crown sanctioned Jamestown (Anglican) at least tried to reach peace with an inherently aggressive Powhatan Confederacy of Tribes (ocasionally retaliating to defend themselves); the elitist puritans ruthlessly wiped out an initially peaceful tribe! whos more Christian here? The Anglicans in America during 1590-1622 were ironically less ruthless than the "religious freedom seekers". Yet the Anglicans did indeed become aggressive after decades of unprovoked aggression from specifically the Powhatan natives, and repeated massacres. I understand that doesnt excuse later purges, however lets have some perspective on the real history of the Puritans. Not the fabricated white-washed revisionism that Calvinists want us to swallow.

5:54 ironic that in America in 2024 some people think its anti-religion to have a separation of church and state. Like you really want the government to be involved in forcing religion on people and at the same time claim to be about "freedom" lol

Jan 6th was orchestrated by Ray Epps and others much thanks to the rhetoric of DNC. After all, who benefited the most from it? Certainly not President Trump, who himself had requested National Guard troops DAYS before, who publicly urged protesters both before, during, and after the riot to remain peaceful. No, it was people like Pelosi, AOC, Harris, (...) who stood the most to gain.

Yes, Pennsylvania is a free state: Abolition of slavery In 1780, Pennsylvania became the first state to pass a law to abolish slavery. The Act for the Gradual Abolition of Slavery made it illegal to import enslaved people into the state, and required slaveholders to register the names of the people they enslaved. Children born in Pennsylvania were also declared free, regardless of their parents' race or condition. End of slavery In 1847, Pennsylvania's state legislature passed a law that ended slavery in the state. This law did not recognize the property rights of slaveholders, and freed the state's remaining enslaved people, which numbered fewer than 100.
