My personal opinion on the automation, is that I prefer to do a mix of manual and automated pinning. The manual stuff is important because Pinterest IMO likes the idea of you behaving like a regular user who's engaging with other people and not just pinning automatically

Hi Lisa, very helpful advice! I have a POD Shopify store with 10 featured pets, Beagle, French Bulldog, Turtle, Guinea Pig, Parrot, etc. Do you recommend me to have 10 different Pinterest accounts for each of them (to maintain a clean niche for each pet), or just place the pins in the same account but in 10 different boards, one board for each pet (easier for me). Thanks!!!

Should I keep up posting new other idea pins to regain my product pin impression?

I see from your report (1:39), you're often selling multiple items per sale? I'm doing reasonably well, but my sales are very much one item (usually a tee) per sale, so to sell several items at a time seems next level. Any chance of a video on strategies to achieve multi-item sales?
@LisaIrby3 жыл бұрын
That wasn't the quantity column. That was the order number column. So you were looking at the last digit of the person's order number. I purposely cut the screen there for customer privacy reasons. I don't typically get multiple items in an order. Maybe 10-20% of the time. So probably no different than your experience.

Yeah that's why I wanted to make an updated video. I think that's what's changed the most since then. You really need a brand. Even if you don't have a website, at least have a niche account.

@@LisaIrby Hey Lisa, Since I used to have a Shopify account ( that never sold anything) I still have the name, but (please forgive me if this is stupid) My brand name and Pinterest account is Christian but MANY of my tees ( at least the ones that sell) are definitely not. How do I post them on a Board that are no where near connected ? My MANY designs are not exactly related to one another. This is the part I still dont understand. Hope this makes sense. thx in advance. (if you have a course that explains this please let me know) If i knew how to truly Market, I can do better.

@@aandjmom1 I wouldn't post them to your Christian account at all. I would make another account that is niche and only post related designs. POD used to be so much fun. With all of the changes with traffic sites these past few years like Pinterest, SEO google and social media, it's just not fun anymore. Gone are the days where POD was beginner and intermediate friendly. RIP.
@LisaIrby3 жыл бұрын
I still enjoy it, but yes things have changed. People who already have a following/traffic or plan to build a long-term niche brand will have the best chance long term. Very glad I made the decision to focus on a single niche in 2018. Just relying on POD organic traffic income alone with random niches is a lot more challenging now for the average person just starting. Hope you find something else you enjoy in the meantime. Best of luck to ya, Pat.

I'm new to Pinterest and I recently created a niche pinterest account around health/wellness. I hear this a lot that you should repin other people's pin but why? Because I'm thinking that won't allow the lead to view and go to my website so why should I do that? As I said I'm new so would really love some clarification. Thanks!!
@LisaIrby3 жыл бұрын
It’s not about doing it because it’s going to help you get views. It’s just a part of the Pinterest culture. And now the algorithm expects you as a user to share other users continent. Look at it as a penalty if you don’t share other peoples constant and that can impact your exposure potential.

@LisaIrby3 жыл бұрын
@@november132 I never search for my pins because the algorithm is very personalized and customized so different people see different things. So I don’t expect to ever find my pin. The algorithm is very complicated so there’s no surprise you’re not able to find it. As long as they show up on my account that’s all I care about. At first I thought you were saying you couldn’t find it on your account but I don’t worry about search because it’s so algorithmic. In order for pins to rank they need to get re-pins from other people so the more popular your pins get overtime the easier they will show up and search but don’t expect a new image to be found in search without a lot of interaction or shares from other users. Popularity drives the rank. A new pin has no popularity yet. Sometimes I’ll run across my own pins when I’m browsing and they’re usually the popular ones.

What the best way for newbie to make $1000 per month ? Please answer me
@LisaIrby3 жыл бұрын
Are you making at least $10/month yet? I find that when people ask these questions, they aren't even making anything close to $1,000 so that's a big jump for a newbie to make. So set a goal to make $10 or $20 month and then SCALE those niches with better designs. That's what happened to me. Yes, I make well over $1,000/month now, but when I first started making a small amount.... let's say $100/month, I continued to work the same niches and improved my designs in those same keywords. But please don't think there is some magic tip that is instantly going to help you make $1,000. You have to build to that and it could take months or even years. I hate the assumption that there is one missing tip that is going to instantly help someone make $1,000 month. (I blame KZbin for that. LOL) Typically there's not. It's a process. Find lower competition niches and make the best designs you can. Be patient and don't believe the hype!
@LisaIrby3 жыл бұрын
@@grahamnichols1416 Thank you for saying this. KZbinrs have learned that the "Make $x/month" thumbnail is what gets views but it doesn't mean they are actually making that. And they have all these people out here thinking it's easy to do in a couple of days. Nope.
