@@riverr780 there are lots of reasons that a pool could have low levels of chlorine, that is number eight on the list in this video. One of those could be that the CYA levels are too high or too low. But again it’s the lack of chlorine that contributes to a pool turning green. A high or low CYA level will just nearly make it difficult for the pool to “hold” chlorine.

@@PoolSchoolermy pool every year always has this dust stuff come up and it's so fine it makes it through the sand filter and it makes water green and can't see through it. What makes it do that

Sand is not the most efficient and it needs to be changed about every 5 years. you may want to consider this alternative to sand in your filter.
