The brain predicts! Yes! This is exactly what my sensations do. I have a lovely pattern of dizziness - one day I feel a pull to my left side all day long, the next day I feel pulsing in my head. It goes back and forth every other day with each of these sensations. I think about it each day, and then my brain predicts it will happen. And so it goes. Still working on countering this issue. Sending love and hugs to all struggling with these issues. Hang in there. We’ve got this! ❤

I have exactly the same symptoms and thinking about the symptoms sets the dizziness off.

Dizziness is part of Anxiety, which is a TMS symptom imperative - i had horrible anxiety in my 20's and dizziness was part of it. At first it freaks you out with thoughts of, whats wrong with me, this will lead to something worse etc - the way out is TO ENJOY THE DIZZINESS. I know how does one enjoy it? I used to say people spend good money on booze and weed to be altered and here I am getting it for FREE! It works as the more i WELCOMED THEM my anxieties dissipated and so did my dizziness. SO ENJOY THEM! ENJOY ALL THE BODILY SENSATIONS!. God Bless.

A study at Penn State said 91.4% of worries don't come true. Very Important video Dan. I have ruined many things predicting the worse. Changing that now with you Dan and all. 🤗♥

The timing of this is blowing my mind. I had a terrible flare yesterday due to this very thing...predicting a bad outcome to a future event without any evidence of how it would play out. I think I’m helping myself by “preparing” for a bad outcome when in reality I’m setting myself up for more pain! Thanks so much for your brilliant advice and insight! Words can’t express my gratitude! 😊

The brain always predicts danger for what’s going to happen again and again based on past unresolved issues. The more you avoid, the more it persists. Its critical nature wants clarity all the time, ultimately seeking for final conclusion, otherwise, the cycle will never end. In some cases, although, it may not work for everyone, but it did for me. Tactically is to keep doing it. Example, is to tell ahead- “look brain, I’m going to get myself dizzy now as I’m about to do this thing that will make me dizzy all the time” BEFORE the brain may even predicted it out to you first. Then envision yourself swaying along gracefully..or even dance with it. The more you practice, the brain eventually comes to a conclusion, that belief system is pathetic and no longer needed.

Love it! I’m not in expecting mode anymore.. I’m in curiosity - mode! I observe my symptoms, the way they go up, down, worsen, expand , diminish etc.. So if a great event is coming, I don’t fear my symptoms - state,I watch how amazing every thing plays out good or bad.. curious 👀 and then respond calmly in the moment. This Friday my youngest daughter comes visiting us and I’m SOO excited and happy about that. Haven’t seen her in 12 months, and on the phone we don’t discuss my physical state anymore.. so I know she will be emotional when she hears I can eat most foods without severe pain. She will realize that after nearly 2 decades, and no one expecting me to get better, things are shifting in the good direction. Still a lot of other symptoms to deal with but I’m an optimist: I expect them to vanish when they are ready to vanish. Have a wonderful positive day Dan and everyone ❤

I have tragically disturbing dreams that are all my traumas coming up - I can’t escape them, and the mornings have me in crisis. 😢 2 years bedridden with 50+ tms symptoms.. I make gains, then go backwards in a stress state, I can’t escape. I try to do positive things, pattern interrupt.. every day. But am going in circles..

Yes, Dan, nice and true. BUT while building a better case scenario is actually conscious guiding of thoughts, through words - "Tomorrow I am going to wake up without the pain and I am going to feel so cool, I love this already", the bad case scenario is leading the show, silently, automatically, it's there, it's already On..."It hurts. Oh, it's ok, it won't hurt tomorrow or this weekend when you want to spend time outside..." - The thing is I DON'T KNOW if it will hurt or not...And that's a harsh game to play every hour of every day

No, we don't know if we will hurt or not, but the things I teach, the messages of safety, expecting the best can influence our results. May as well optimize our chances to feel better versus expecting bad things.

We have all heard the phrase: "Like attracts like....." It's not just fluffy woo woo or energy talk either ! For the more scientific / evidence based folks - think of the humble magnet... 🧲🧲🧲 The magnet draws to itself how it is polarised - positive or negative.... ➕️➖️ So to me that translates to how Dan just described it for our every day lives... 🙏❣️

I went to Australia in May to visit my son. I was terrified to go due to symptoms showing you. However for 3 months before I did visualizations on having a great airplane ride and then being able to eat and drink all kinds of things and having a fantastic time touring Sydney. I mean I really intensely visualized these things that I would even tear up thinking about hugging my son for the first time in almost two years at the airport. I had a lot of people praying for me too that understand what I’m going through. I am pleased to report I had a fantastic, amazing, incredible trip. I had a few brief moments of anxiety but listened to your posts everyday Dan and am so thankful for all you do to help people like me. This stuff really works.

This was me.. Dan can tell ya. 😂 stressed about my wedding day for months and had the worst symptoms. My wedding day I had NO symptoms for the first time in a LOOOONG time. I’m back to having symptoms but it just goes to show how true this video is.

Dear Dan!!! Thank you so much for this!!! After my answer on the last video!!! This is exactly why i am stuck at the moment! The fear of being dissapointed 😅this video is so true. And clear in what to do better! It also asks a big leap of faith...its hard to trust i will be ok, when it is already taking so long. i always went the wrong way, wanting to feel proove that i will be ok when i do this or that. But i know it has to be the other way around😅first trusting that i WILL be ok. And than the mind will follow... This, and what you teach here, is really spot on. Thank you so much! Love from NL❤

I understand it's hard to predict good things. But it's harder to predict the worst and get it. May as well change the prediction. It can only help.

Ahhh so soooo good, great video dan 🙌🦄👍 I'm realizing i really want to focus more on changing the way I'm predicting/what I'm predicting. Dan it's interesting what you were saying about the expectation effect and you talk about this often-how your brain can create what you imagine or predict - I was wondering your thoughts on the example you gave where alot of ppl you've coached etc may be expecting the worst days/weeks/mts out from a big trip or event-but then it often goes well or ok!-why do you think that happens when they have been subconsciously/consiously rehersing it going badly for so long in advance 🤔 ?! It almost goes against the expectation effect! 🦄🙌

What’s your advice on before sleeping what to do because I feel sleep is a key and fearing and dreaming of ur symptoms is very bad. Should we not watch news, watch only comedies, get away from cel phones from 6pm etc Any good strategy.

Well, regarding any symptoms you may have, expect to sleep well and expect to wake up feeling well. Otherwise, there are MANY videos already on youtube about sleep. Just search youtube for sleep hygeine and you will find many of them. There are also several great TED talks about sleep. Search KZbin for "sleep hygiene ted talk" f

sir why when im not so stressed my dazziness is not so Il instine. but everytime im in a panick mode my dezzeness is so high, i have trauma in the past i think now i have anxiety and panic atttack?

When you are stressed your body will fire out cortisol, inflammatory to the body when it's constantly ON

Hi Dan, I'm thinking of signing up for your group coaching. My form of tms is long covid. I do get pain but one of my most disabling symptoms is fatigue which currently has me on bed rest. Do the techniques you teach work for fatigue as well as pain related tms symptoms? Thanks so much
