Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle are travelling to Nigeria in a “risky” unofficial royal tour, according to SkyNews.com.au Digital Reporter Reilly Sullivan.
After Prince Harry is finished with the 10th anniversary celebrations of his signature Invictus Games foundation, He will travel to Nigeria with his wife, Meghan Markel.
“They’re not there on behalf of the British government; they are there at the Invitation of the Nigerian government,” Mr Sullivan told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power.
“Some people think this is a bit risky when you’re not there on behalf of, say, The British Home Office; you are kind of at the whims of your host.”
“They like to control their image, but this could backfire, and they are not going to have control.”
“Harry and Meghan have accepted this invitation, and presumably the costs of security and travel will be covered by Nigeria.”

And it's the Chief of Defence staff, not the government per se, that extended the invitation.
