Puss And Batman have 2 very different journeys in terms of plot but share the thematic thread of realising fear keeps you strong, alert and most of all alive, Great Catch in this video!

batman's a fearless hero? man literally created a superhero out of his biggest fear....... think you completely missed the point of the batman character.... or hero characters in general.....

I’m assuming you didn’t watch the video 😅 Obviously Bruce starts out fearing bats, and he believes that this fear is what killed his parents, but then he travels to Tibet to overcome his fear through the league of shadows, and where once he channelled this fear within by being afraid of bats he adopts the symbol of the bat to channel it without, as he says in Batman begins he chose the symbol of the bat so that his enemies could feel his dread, and then multiple times throughout the trilogy he references not fearing anything, about Batman having no limits. Right up until the end of the dark knight rises Bruce’s belief is that he has to overcome fear in order to be the hero, that’s what the symbol of Batman represents, Bruce’s attempts to overcome his fear and use it against his enemies. That’s also what makes the Medic’s message so impactful when he tells Bruce that fear is what makes us strong in the dark knight rises. Up until that point Bruce believes fear made him weak, and the only way to be the hero was to overcome his fears.
