J. Bennet and S. Webb are two potential CBs that are familiar in P. Graham system. Either one of them could start opposite J.Jones. Use what you have in camp. Trust the process.

Gilmore is experience/a real pro plus he can train up some of the younger guys. He can come in ready to start. He’s definitely proven.

We got our veteran. Christian Wilkins. This a young man's league. There is maybe 4 or 5 free agents that make a difference (relative to their contract) on their new teams. Free agency is fools gold. How many times do the raiders got to get burned before we learn our lesson??? We got Wilkins. We got one of the few good players that leak into FA. Focus on our OWN, or some cheap depth. No need or reason to invest into "vets" at this point. Give our youngins snaps. They're still playing FOR a big contract, they still play with purpose.

Adoree Jackson or Xavier need to sign one. No idea why we havent signed a cb with how dogshit our secondary is. We dont have a single good CB on the roster, at best theyre average. We have 30m+ in cap space and have needed a CB all offseason. Gilmore washed and old saying he is top 7 makes you sound like a crackhead.

Bennet looked good last off season. Then when the season started he struggled. I don't trust him. I rather see what the rookie from Mississipie State has. He has the size, lentgh, speed, overall athletic ability that is coveted. I hope Bennett can get the job done but I don't know. I guess we will see

Definitely need another CB Hobbs is hit and miss, and Jones was exciting last season, but he has only 5 carrer starts , im confident in him in the moment but not 100% sold on him yet.

Signing a corner that nobody wants, doesn't make sense. We need every dollar available to sign players to extentions. Wasting valuable cap space that could be used to sign Koonse, Moehrig or Hobbs. Whoever Telesco feels has the best future with the team. Burning money on an old corner that will fail is how things were done in the past, hopefully this regime thinks smart and different from the past.

Jack Jones is not getting 4.4 a year lmao.... he is on a rookie deal and it's 4.4 for 4 years. And I like what I have seen fron Jones so far but to say he plays better knowing he is CB1 is crazy he has only started 5 games in his whole carrer and has never been CB1, so how has he played better knowing he was a CB1

Before everyone gives up on the younger guys such as Bennett, you may not be old enough to remember Nnamdi Asomugha, but he was terrible his first couple of years and then turned into one of the best corners ever to play for the Raiders. Have patience and bring a guy in like Gilmore who can help the rookies, much like Woodson did with Nnamdi.

I'm all in on Gilmore at the right price - I think at his age we could get him for 6/7. remember his 20m was 2 years ago. 2 year 15m - then use the rest of the money to lock up player and keep a little spare for emergency's
