Fr everyone makes it about black and white I’ve heard more rappers say em is one of the best rappers ever but I always see ppl hating on em that’s black online then always saying to white ppl of course you think Eminem is this or that that’s yalls god. When shit if em was black he would be guaranteed to be considered one of the goats but since hes white he always gets some sort of hate but thats just like lil Wayne he may not be everyone’s cup of tea but he is still a goat. When it comes to album sales and knowledge of music and rap those two are on a different level compared to any rapper todays mainstream *aside from Kendrick and Cole* even most all the old school guys most of them paved the way and craft for them to be that tho and also they all have different styles and shit too so it’s hard to said a goat but I always say one of them and I don’t know how many can argue that just like you can’t really argue drake based off sales alone even tho he’s not the shit to me

It's not like there's a white guy out there who only listens to rock and country but also likes Eminem because he's white. That doesn't make sense. There are no white fans of hip-hop who only listen to white rappers.
@ckdc65224 ай бұрын
It's not about him just being white. It's more about marketability. Eminem is easier to market to more mainstream audiences. He's always been edgy, but it's a type of edge that white markets are a little more comfortable with. As a result, he's able to penetrate the mainstream music market a lot better. I definitely knew a lot of kids growing up that mostly listened to pop and rock but also Eminem. None of them would listen to NWA or Nas, but through Eminem, they're exposed to broader hip hop.
