I comment a lot cause I know it helps the algorythm so don't mind me. Love this! We are not on a time limit on this. I know we all want to get back to our lives. But we are here for a reason, because of an imbalance we caused ourselves. I say be here fully. This is our chance to really set the record straight, to change our lives for the better. Be present and do the work. Otherwise you just have to repeat the lesson in Earth school.

brilliant, it makes perfect sense. the exhilaration periods are my biggest krytonite. getting so excited and going opshopping, decorating my house or just generally doing too much physical creative things when im peaking. i used to be an artist and have adhd so it makes sense 😅 but i believe at a certain point in recovery, a creative outlet, and when done correctly, it can be that thing that keeps us in balance. ive started sketching again, just a few hours a week, sometimes in my recliner. it gives me that spark of life, without needing to turn my loungeroom around and spending the next month in bed. if balance is yin and yang, and yin is non action and yang is action, drawing is my action. i need both, i need them to be active simultaneously (or atleast reactivating every couple of days) to stay balanced. if creativity dies in our minds, so too will it die in our cells. if you think of creativity as life, light, spark, spirit, hope. thats my thoughts, anyway.

Miguel can you do a video on how to keep the good emotions of thankfulness, positivity,... I like the way Rick Hanson teaches how to build the good emotions. He has free classes, podcasts, YT videos and resources on his website. He also has weeks-long classes you can purchase, and books, too. He's not a Buddhist, but he uses Buddhist principles. It's not a religion and you don't have to study Buddhism; just learn to spend more of our time in calm, compassionate, grateful, loving emotions.

I have Long Covid, the "mild" form of it... But it's quite bothersome and veeery annoying. As soon as I stand up, I feel "weighed down" as if there were a ton of bricks holding me down. There's this constant weight pushing down on the lower part of my body, especially the legs. Limbs feel pretty heavy, too. The "heaviness" is so bad and unsettling. If I am lying in bed, it feels like I am being pushed against the mattress and I am sinking into it. If I sit on a chair, I feel like I am sinking into the chair. I can't stand still for a long time because the heaviness gets worse. Also, every kind of activity, including the cognitive ones, make the heaviness worse. I have to "rest and pace" all the time in order to avoid relapses or feeling worse. I also experience a wide range of body paresthesia (tingling in the extremities and in the brain, stab pain in my muscles, pins and needles) and the hot flashes are unbearable. What can I do about that?

How to keep emotions neutral when you lose someone to death (or even ppl walking away), during recovery? My dad just passed
@cfsrecovery
@cfsrecovery 9 ай бұрын
I am sorry to hear about this. 😞 Dealing with loss during recovery can be extremely challenging. It's important to allow yourself to feel your emotions and grieve in your own way. Seeking support from friends, family, or a therapist can be helpful. Over time, as you heal, your emotions may become more manageable, and you can focus on your recovery journey with a supportive network by your side. 🤗

-Leg stiffness: worsens randomly when sitting or lying, Never notice whens tanding or moving. -Fatigue whole day: sometimes worsens during the day. -Wake up really tired, fatigue in my body, leg stiffness. Arms tired too. -Urinate alot, have to urinate 10-15 minutes after drinking. -Thirsty all the time, can drink-> urinate and then go back to drinking water. -Heal slowly, injuries last forever, got hit while playing football in my leg, im still sensitive in that area. Overworked my forarms, comes back every time i barely lift something the wrong way. -Dry skin, acne. -However i can jog, play football, walk my dog. i can even work to some extend as long as i can choose when to work and quit, but i would fail at a 9-5 kinda job. The thought and reality of waking up tired for years and years is very unrealistic. and would be impossible, i would give up eventually. -struggling wiht sleep cycle, can fall out of it very easy, not very tired at night, more excited, seems like my energy is higher during night time. -I have some strong reactions, emotions to people and social situations sometimes. -I eat clean, not bad habits. but whether i eat clean or bad it makes no difference to energy levels or stiffness. -pain in my chest when sleeping on my left side. -I stretch every day, eat twice a day, fast the rest of the time except water. ( only last 2 weeks) -Eating banana and bread in the morning makes me beat, 1 hour alter im already back to wanting to sleep. -First symptom was waking up during the night to urinate, and morning fatigue+ legg stiffness. Thoughts on what it could be, or something that i can do to get better:O?

@@tommigunn16 You can measure it by heart rate - if orthostatic intolerance difference is getting smaller (=intravascular volume is increasing), if water stays in the body (measure water intake in, water intake out), it won‘t happen in a day, but by tracking it you can see the trend. @@cfsrecoveryVideos do not pop in any of the video I’ve seen either. You are referencing a lot and you‘ve got lots of them and titles are kinda not the same you mention. So please, link them in the description as well.

I like when you place labels on this or that and just be in a state of gratitude and not analyzing and judging because that is a beta brainwave state and when we judge things so much then when something is not GREAT the brain says on this normal average feeling must be bad.
