I have been dealing with CIRS and CFS and one of the most powerfully painful parts was how it changed the way I spoke, acted, carried myself, and how I could no longer enjoy what I would be able to if I was well. CIRS is known to cause a loss of personality so it felt like I died and turned into "someone else", thank you for the video.

@@Truerealism747Cirs can be caused by chemical or biological insults. I’ve had it for years, but when you knock it in remission, life gets back to normal. Mold is a common trigger. Dr Shoemaker showed in his experience that over 90% of me/cfs cases are actually undiagnosed Cirs.

Your videos just keep on getting better! I am a THRIVER! I have seen big progress with this mindset shift but I also wanna let others know it takes time and is not easy! But is VERY possible! I was totally bedbound and am out living life again. Still in progress but I keep on shutting down the doubts and trying to focus on what is right instead of what isn’t. Thank you Miguel !

True. No matter what we will experience miserable from time to time. Instead of worrying and focusing on bad things, why not start to find joy in this period, even if it’s just a little bit. Days still go by, and how to spend it is really our own choice.

I am looking for a video on KZbin on how to better manage your everyday life tasks with cfs, particularly while in a flare up, and especially if you live alone and/or without a support system (no family, close friends, etc.). Have you done any videos on this topic?

Loved this miguel, as always. Thanks for sharing your spark to ignite other souls. I’m in my way of thriving ..during flarups and symptoms what works well for me is giving me a day off and stick to basics, though those days (like today) feels like surviving. Its a game of acceptance, patience and perseverance And also checking we don’t fall into no acceptance or resignation, right?

Miguel is there a video that talks about memory? It gets so hard to gain knowledge and progress without it functioning properly. I made a lot of progress in a year regarding fatigue and pains but that part makes me forget each day my goals, my progress, my life, the ones I love’s lives, I have ton of notes and follow them each day and write more

Hi Miguel, I’ve been experiencing quite bad anxiety symptoms since I really kicked on with my brain retraining. I feel like it’s pushing back against my progress. It’s all physical symptoms like chest tightness. Was wondering if you’ve heard of anyone else experiencing anything similar? Feels like now I need to deal with the anxiety before I can get back on track with the CFS recovery

Have a look at these videos to get a better understanding of what's going on and how the body is trying to recalibrate itself. kzbin.info/www/bejne/kGallWmrgsSijac Also, here's a playlist I created that will help you deal with symptoms if you're looking for more info on specifics: kzbin.info/aero/PLJT8-UVmfsmKHgGkCQPKkmHgZL11LqvJa

Focus on your own journey before you focus on anyone else
@miezeken10 ай бұрын
The medical system decided CFS was incurable many years ago, and that’s what doctors learn, and that’s what you have learnt. There are thousands of recovery stories. Part of recovering is believing you can, because if you don’t believe it’s possible then you’re going to see every crash as getting worse. Crucially, the thing with CFS is your brain so SO SENSITIVE that big feelings can cause crashes. Just thinking and feeling. It’s a hard place to be. I’ve been there. My heart goes you to you.

@@ezza1236these people deserve our kindness. I’m sure they don’t love having CFS. I do however understand your reaction, as I myself have been on the receiving end of pile-ons by people who don’t believe they can recover. It’s grim. Us positive people can do better than that.
