Blowing up a bridge makes it that bit harder to send an invading army over the boarder, not like it would be much of a difference the DMZ is already mountainous enough to not be able to send tanks over. Normally, I would think this is just the typical threats but combined with the other issues globally (China/Taiwan, Russia/Ukraine, Israel/Iran) this is concerning. The US and other Nato nations will have a difficult time assisting everyone. This could be a divide and conquer strategy all while the US elections are happening which will have major implications on the United States foreign policy going forward. Everywhere is a mess.

Kim Jong Un needs to grow up. He well knows his regime won't survive if South Korea and the United States retaliate. Let things go and seek a better future. This isn't 1945.

They are indoctrinated since birth to love him more than their own families and worship him as a god. With their lack of knowledge of the outside world, many of them don't know any better but to do as he says. They think his authority is absolute.
