So you didn't listen to the episode. ST coach largely isn't responsible for the kicking results or return. It's the coverage units and return units. And those areas have seen improvement. No more blocked kicks and better results in coverage.

Overall ST was awful this year - just look how badly they ranked on most websites, despite us having an excellent Punter and a decent Kicker. Clock management wasn't great. MLF has increased the pressure on himself by bringing back Bissacia. If they come as a pair, then maybe time for both of them to leave.

He’s the best special teams guy in the league he’s taken our broken special teams and made them average. That’s all I want from special teams just don’t lose the games and they have gotten there.
