This is excellent advice! The way the explanation was delivered is even more brilliant Chris. Now we need you to run for a political office and be a leader of our great country. There are so many limited minds and rigid corrupt politicians currently as a result they are self imploding before our eyes. Your brother can be President and you can be Vice President. Yes that’s our next winning ticket. 🙌🏽👏🏽💪🏽 Let’s go !!!!

Thank you for this podcast Chris! This episode was extra special for me because i h ave been guilty of not admitting when I’m wrong. Looking forward to more episodes and your show on NewsNation.

I see your point, but it's more about the optics. Biden's whole schtick has been about the average joe, blue collar, and the working class. It strikes some as odd that he wouldn't visit(or waits so long to visit) these areas.

Free agent. How "free" are you? 19:39 for a Socratic discussion on free will vs. determinism. Free will says we possess agency whereas deteriminsm says we do stuff due to "control" - say we're hungry so we eat would be a simple version of determinism. To do that - let's unpack a simple decision all of us make every single day. The decision - what do we put on every day. What are the factors that underpin our clothing choice each day? 1) External ambient temperature. We need to keep our core at a set temperature for optimum functioning. So if it's cold out, we rug up in warm clothes; if it's hot out, we wear lighter, non-structured clothes that won't trap in heat. That's biological determinism - the need to keep your body core at a set temperature dictates your clothing choice each day. 2) Body size & shape. I'm size 20 & proud of it. So obviously I won't look good in tight fitting sheath dress. I just won't. My feet are wide & I have a really high instep, so I have to buy shoes that have flexibility over the top of my foot and around my ankle. I simply just can't get my foot into some shoes, no matter how much I like them. Again - biological determinism dictates clothing choice. 3) Plans for the day. We dress differently according to our plans for the day - we don't wear the same type of clothes to work that we wear meeting mates for lunch. We have a work wardrobe and a play wardrobe - even if we don't have to wear a uniform of some kind at work. That's dictated by our social system - social determinism. 4) Our gender. Men & women dress differently. While women can and do dress masculine, men don't dress feminine. The only men in the world who can openly wear a skirt and not be subject to ridicule are Scotsmen - it's referred to as a kilt, but it's a skirt, pure & simple. Yes - unless you're a western born convert to Islam who's married to another western born convert - your decision to wear a burka or niquab ISN'T a free will decision, no matter what you think - there's actually a strong element of cultural determinism that you need to acknowledge. It can be validly argued that cultural determinism also plays a role for our western born convert as well - it's just not as strong. Once more social determinism at play. 5) Style, fabric & colour. You can only buy what's available to buy clothes wise. If it won't sell, nobody's gonna make it. Dead simple. Even if you make your own clothes - ok, you can create the pattern, but when it comes to the material - you can't buy what's not made. Social determinism again. As can be seen - there is very little free will involved in the decision of what clothes we wear every day. In fact - it's minimal. The only only free choice aspect of this daily decision we all make is the choice out of what's actually in our wardrobe that works with the external ambient temperature and our plans for the day. Apply this exercise to every single decision you make & you'll find the free will is a furphy. It's misleading as a concept.

Interesting... I've been adapting too much in my life, as well as been too flexible physically when I was younger, leading to a torn off ligament in my knee - all for me to develop strength in both ways. Other than that, I'd love to hear your own insight about something you experienced and learned, instead of "you should...". The point of coaching is for each person to find his/her own answers and ways, rather than being told on how to live. Think about that. And just imagine... an interview with me would appeal to both your audiences; immigration politics (being stopped from working eventhough I was eligible with a valid visa and detained without crime and attorney is breaking human rights), AND self-help psychology and faith. Ta da! (But, I'm an eco-feminist...)

A show about change,,and the struggle to do so. You should have changed the topic after the first 5 minutes. But it's your show. Then of course you gotta slip a little punch in to Trump about covid, which was a lie. Trump tried to let Pence handle this but people didn't want to hear Pence. They wanted Trump. But you're right about covid, it was an ever changing problem to handle. Made to be a problem, man made. But Chris, I would like to see an HONEST evaluation of how and why Trump was persecuted from DAY ONE. Of course I know why. It was about Trump not letting them have control. Which is where payoffs and corruption is so deep on both sides they where all afraid that Trump was going to expose, disrupt, and take way. No American President has ever had to live thru this. I'm surprised ,they haven't just kill him. And you Chris knows this is true , but yet you refused to report it. So maybe it's time for that change you spent so much time talking about. Honesty, dig deep to find out why Trump had to go before he even got started. Be a real non bias journalist that you say you are. Stop hiding and avoiding the true for a CHANGE.

Chris, about the beard. You don't want a beard!. Trust me, you don't want a beard. I had a beard for about 3 months. You have to wash it every day. If you don't and you walk past a building site and you will get concrete dust in it. Then you will get sores in it that will take about 6 weeks to go a way. I then got rid of my beard. I'm happy wet shaving every other day now. I'm now in my happy place. And the ladies prefer the smooth feel. A beard or rough look is for ladies that have no idea. After they try, they prefer the smooth. No prickles. Thats the preference, the smooth n close smooching is the go...................

I have a terrible habit of trying to be a people pleaser so I've made up my mind that this has caused me more headaches and heartaches than I can even begin to count. No more. I had convinced myself that others would know better than me and I wasn't given myself credit for what I do know. I can think for myself and I have good ideas. So I guess I'm being more flexible with myself! I don't have to always go along with someone else just to keep peace or gain their approval or gain their care or love.

Yes! Preach!! This is so important this concept. I feel like everyone is so rigid in their thinking right now and they are so stuck in their original position and not being open to like you said new facts, circumstances new conditions…This is something I’m so familiar with because my youngest son has autism and rigidity is some thing we work on constantly because his life is better when things are right or wrong, black-and-white, rules, routines… But learning to be flexible is the word and the concept 11:40 we’ve worked on for his whole life. I can’t wait to share this with so many of my friends.
