Good Morning 😎 Do I have enough? Nope, but I don't need much. Am I enough? Well, I was when I was younger; now, I don't have a lot left in me. What I'm trying to learn is moderation. Making small changes each day so that it is enough to change my situation for the better. Always enjoy your walks and talks and watching you on News Nation. 🌻

Thanks Chris! 🙌🏾At 58 I still question am I enough? Have I done enough? I thought by now I was supposed to have my life together. You just gave me a sense of normalcy in a world where many try to show how much more they are than you. Not you personally 🏳️‍🌈

Everything you talked about today sounds just like what goes on in my head on a regular basis. I have always struggled with the concept of being enough. I can look at other people and truly believe that they are enough. When it comes to me it’s totally different. Once in a while, when I’m at my best in my thinking, I actually feel enough for a few moments. Those moments when I feel enough are exhilarating and calming all at once. I really appreciate you sharing your thoughts. It was wonderful to see the beach and the ocean! I look forward to more food for thought in your next video. Love from Vermont.

A practical thing that I do when I have had enough of whatever, is to snooze for a while and when I wake up I am ready to fight again. As we say here ‘ I need to go and lie down in a darkened room’. Cold water swimming is very good for you, so I am told. They do that a lot here in the Lake District. Love Maureenxx

Hey Lil Bro! A couple things. . . Again, thank you. You are taking YOUR time, your educated self, your honesty . . . opening up and showing a rare vulnerability for a human being especially at THIS Time in humanity. . . after 'wokeness' and Covid-19 arrived (never mind how a certain fella's 'actions' and 'getting-away-with-it', IMP, LOWered standards worldwide). . . Also, I have thought about the whole 'what is enough' question. . . I have come to the place where I am easier on myself now though. . .Perfectionist is gone. I do 'what I can' and 'what I am able to do'. . . I am working at being my 'best' conciously everyday. . . THAT, done conciously and conscientiously. . .is enough. I hear you ask about the subscription idea. . . Would all depend on 'how much' honestly. . . I often say, " you can only spend a dollar once. . . " (as is true of a person's time, effort and energy. . .) I invest my time and energy into 'following' you and even 'commenting' because I think your words and ideas have high value for this struggling, oft-scared-silent society. I wanna say 'be cautious not to stretch yourself too thin' (though I listen to you on all your platforms and appreciate that there is a different side in each.) What you are doing is unparalleled. . . 'Balance' so 'we' have your perspective in what I feel will be challenging years ahead. (Thank you for the kinder reference [for you AND me] of 'chubby' not 'fat'. . .) And, again, THANKS for helping me thru Covid. . .

Regular is so broad…. Thank you Chris for your humility as always. I wish I could pinpoint all the questions which seem to invade your mind & soul. It seems that you blame yourself so much, when in fact when you speak so openly you have all the theories though you bring up the fact that it is so hard for you to apply some form of « regularity »….now should you? …. You show to know everything I live for or say, but you struggle to find the line on which you wish to be. And in the same time you do not know on what life line you clearly want to be….you have so many questions on yourself Chris. My one word though, which was my life leitmotif was « Willpower »…. Today I decided that I had to be kinder & softer w/ myself. Back about you Maybe you keep on expecting to be back where you were…let’s say five years ago… on top of your game….when you maybe have to accept that you & all of us are facing the fact that it will never be the same??… AI being the center of all.? Now I personally think..;-)…that being part of the ones whose life was mostly devoid of technology then we had to be on the bandwagon to catch up on technology…. Mostly self taught… I feel that those are privileged. To have grown in a world & era that in Europe we call « les 30 glorieuses »….glorious years following World War II. So you & I are part of those lucky ones, at least that’s how I see it. And on this Ciao Ciao… Isn’t it great to walk on the beach… tougher than on a hard ground….maybe that’s what makes it better. 😂🇫🇷🇺🇸

Great Chris. . .(The day you have your shirt off and I make a light joke about it is the day you want specific thoughtful insight on what to do with your podcast.)🤔Okay. . .here is what I think. You are doing so much already! People enjoy just watching you be yourself. Keep that going, but add to it. I think that If you're going to monetize your podcast you need to bring something really substantial to the table for your viewers and listeners to take home. Like having some people on the podcast you’ve met or already know who have used effective coping techniques that have truly improved their mental health. Maybe also have a professional or two on the show when you can afford it. But don’t try to go too big right now. A slow but steady fan base is better than a massive slew of flakes. This is how gamers get started and a lot of them have over 1 million followers. Sometimes it's a slow burn. Whatever you decide, stay your authentic self. I think it’s what people like about you most. Good luck!👊🏽

Diva Geneva I like the idea of an exchange of ideas, successes, how people got to go where they wanted to be. I especially like the fact that if it is a subscription only those that truly want to be there will, a safe place to have a discussion without the judgey ridicule that social media promotes.

Thank you for your deep analysis on those two common words, "regular and enough." I challenge myself to be more than "just enough." It is about showing up and doing your best in life , it may also motivate others to do the same, or maybe not. I listen to my body and mind to help me know when "enough is enough." Rest is so important, for good health, but it is not always easy when there is so much in life to do. Also, keep bringing home rock /shell collections , put them in a box to enjoy or when you need to relax.

In my opinion, "regular, and enough" are matter of life choice. We human beings, literally have stardust in our blood, therefore, we are beautiful, and connected to the Universe. This is not airy fairy , garbage...it is truth. We are enough, regardless of our position on the planet.

Thoughts on paid subs - You may want to consider online interactive events or workshops to test the waters before going to paid-subscription model. They'll offer direct audience interaction, meaningful discussions, and possible revenue opportunities through event ticket sales, sponsorships, and merchandise. I still think that you need to expand your online reach and build your brand. You have so much to offer, and need to think outside the box. You may want to consider reaching out to other KZbin creators with larger audiences and offer to be a guest on their show to discuss a topic or two. You are still known as a TV guy. You need to show your face on other KZbin channels. You can opine on so many different topics. Honestly, once people know you have your own channel with your own content, your subs will be off the charts. People need to know where to find you.

I really enjoy these Walk and Talks as well as Cuomo on the Couch. Thank you for your efforts to form a community and help us all with our struggles. I’m not sure about turning them into a subscription service, however. If the goal is to raise money and use it for causes we can all support, then maybe a small, very small, contribution from your listeners would be in order; but overall we’re all getting hit by so many different charges for this and that and the other thing each month. Enough! LOL

I think at this point the entire planet knows, I’m going through my own process. Is not fun, is not sexy, that’s why I’m staying away from people in general. Until I come out of this process and feel better. Why? Exactly for what you said. People want to see perfection from Christians. Their expectations are off charts , I have enough on my plate to add people expectations in top. It’s rare to find a person that ask how do I feel. And I think that’s the problem with people that are not Christians they have this “ expectation “ of Christian to be perfect. We are not, we are just human just like everyone else, with our own process is just that are not by ourselves because we have God and faith but it’s a big mistake for people to think that we are perfect, caring and sweet 24/7. We are in a process just like everyone else. Putting anyone in a pedestal is a mistake in general, Christian or not. Honestly, in life, every human need these times, is the quickest way to find who your tribe is. Who’s real, who really cares, loves. And who’s there to see a show. There’s always a reason why a person do what they do but only the ones that care enough will be there, in the process. Life is teaching me who my friends are at this moment.

Is there enough rocks vs sand? Is the ratio enough? And then the Germanic origins of the word enough. I just love the way your mind works. The unscripted shit is always THE BEST. I would definitely pay to be part of the community. Suggestion: maybe don’t call it a subscription - call it a community. But it’s a lot of work and you honestly don’t have to do more than you are now with Cuomo on the couch and the walk n talks. You are already doing so much more than enough! You’re providing tremendous value for so many just helping us think clearly about life and struggles and suffering and the stories we tell ourselves.

Yes Chris that word enough is a tricky one. Me personally when I've had enough of people I always say I'm over it, Ive had enough, then talking to myself completely have I got enough eg finance, friendship, love from family. so it's really about everyone being an individual who wants could be completely different to me. Funny old world with different cultures but when it all comes down to it we're just human. I wish sometimes when we were younger there was a school to give us a pep talk instead of us having to work it out, gosh I'm an oldie now, I have some wisdom of course but here we go looking back was it enough.Lost opportunities, my fault, not enough thought, did I give enough love to my daughter, answer is yes, now I plod on and think yes I have enough compared to many of our vulnerable people who haven't got enough not by not trying but never had the opportunities. All of us could go on and on but enough is enough 👍

Enough? Is a hard one. I would say there is usually some thing that lets you know like someone asking for more or pain telling you to stop or a natural drive to wonder what if… l find the hardest thing is NOT ignoring the indicator like the pain of the recurring thought or the voicemail. I like the cold therapy thing but only as a reset button, not as a regular thing. I feel like we all need some techniques that can be reset buttons to get us to change mood or to stop removing the same moment over and over. This one was a fun one because of the beach! TTYL

Good show Chris, you owe me 50 bucks for a therapy session…seriously good show. I tend to like the rawness of the podcast best.

I guess, the definition of regular has lost some of its value due to the wish in society to forego norms. In Sweden, we have a special word (lagom) for "just enough" as in moderate. That can sometimes be seen as if you're not, you're deviating from the norm and thus not as accepted, but it can also be a good compass to live by. I've had that struggle in my 20's when I was focused on playing roles to fit in into various groups at work or at home. Letting go of the role-playing and instead assuming a stronger sense of self in my mid 30's has totally eliminated that from my life. I know that I am definitely good enough, whether looking or knowledgeable in my field of professions, including knowing where I could learn more. Keep at it! (And don't torture yourself by forcing yourself to do things just to, think of little Chris. What does he need and how can you provide for him inside of you, the way and what you perhaps didn't even got growing up. Be your own best parent.)

Chris is there a way our identity could be blocked from the public if we joined your script project? If we are truly going to be open and honest about things in our lives it must be done in a manner that fostered our ability to share without anyone other than you knowing our names ? I enjoy your walk and talks, it makes me dig a little deeper into so many aspects of my life. I admire your tenacity on daily working on yourself. Let’s hope this walk and talk rubs off on our mixed somewhat crazy society.

Stop with the subscription idea. I haven't missed a Walk & Talk yet. A subscription doesn't prove loyalty. Tired of being nickled and died for every podcast. If you charge, I'm done.
