Matthew Pariss saying 'everyone' should check their privilege, that they should all consider how good their lives are compared to other people in the world... it's a bit rich! That's the kind of thing only a privileged person can say. If you can't pay your bills and can't adequately feed your family, the consideration about how good your life is in comparison to others is not a fair or realistic ask. It's a rather insensitive ask, to say the least.

Embarrassingly obvious especially as it's been a topic amongst both parties in recent years/ days but some people need it spelt out, so where to begin? In most recent news Kier stamer is taking steps to remove the far left corbinites to further solidify his lead on the conservatives in the upcoming election. Hardly in the interests of the left wingers who voted for those MPs. You could also argue that the labour party and many of its members including Kier Starmer are abstaining from taking stances on gaza while also refusing to pass policies that may change the sitation, to the dismay of many of their voters and the delight of many conservatives. Multiple Labour MPs have also repeatedly sided with Isreal despite many of their voters objections. Across the EU many leftiest parties have taken far harder stances on those subject for example Spain and Ireland in regards to the Palestine Israel debate. Blarerites exist in droves both amongst the left and right bringing both parties closer to the centre. No I won't name all of them. David Cameron was notorious for passing policies that upset conservatives "well everyone really" but in a fair few cases to the delight of the left. A famous example of a Cameron policy that wasnt consevative, he decreased the military size. A action that upset many conservatives . While I admit he isn't by anymeans far left he is certainly not right wing and his policies show that he has clear left wing/Liberal consevative beliefs and by no means can be seen as right wing. I cant reinforce enough how many conservatives hated him. After Cameron many of the Libdems joined both tory and Labour Party. (The conclusion of this should be obvious but i dont want too assume.) This lead to both party's being dragged more into the centre. Which has since caused even more party defects from conservatives and labour MPs. Each of these MPs in turn would obviously bring both right wing and left wing beliefs to the opposite party. No I will not name them all nor each of their policies. Boris Johnson was anti brexit until the last moment when he saw it could help him In his career he jumped onto Nigel Farage's band wagon. DESPITE BREXIT under his government more immigrants were let in than any right winger wanted and more foreign students recieved reserved places/slots at universities across the UK at the discontent of many consevatives. No policy has been successfully passed to address this rather the opposite. He is often referred to as a Liberal lefty amongst conservatives. Oh and one of many more examples a consevative MP recently left the Tory party and Joined Labour. Her name is "Natalie Elphicke" who had many left wing beliefs prior to to leaving the party. (No I won't go into them all as its not my job to educate you) while also being apart of the conservative party. She will obviously be taking her remaining conservatives beliefs to the Labour Party. Further pulling both parties into the centre. We could start going into more policies passed by conservative MPs promoting LGBTQ but like I said prior it's not my job to educate when the information is free and readily available. We still haven't even scratced the surface and I can assure you there are more. I don't get why you felt the need to ask when all the information is out there and not exactly in short supply either... Are u running low on 5g or was this just a failed attempt to call someone out? If none of my answers hit the supposed mark you are more than welcome to go online and find the rest of the information in far further depth there.

The Tories are in serious trouble now, simply because they did not purge the leftist half of their party out after brexit, from that point onwards, they destroyed themselves from within.
