To me this is basically how RuneScape began, I can already feel the og RuneScape vibe in this game, this is basically RuneScape with better crafting, people didn’t realize combat on og rs didn’t have bosses and all that, Andrew is redoing everything in a modern way, one issue I do have is gear, I like the system osrs has where gear stays valuable and can be used anytime by anyone, I’m worried we won’t get gear like this from bosses as it will always scale up levels ans become useless.

Lastly, ive NEVER played a game where its being updated as much as brighter shores, with meaningful and QOL boosts from such a small team. Loving the game and seeing where its going

I think a really nice quality of life change would be removing the 2 square limit when moving your character. I’d love to run from the delectable dab to rocky road in 1 click. It makes movement feel very clunky and frustrating to me. Is there any reason they should keep it the way it is now?

For the first few days we couldn't click the map, and then we could only do 1 map over for about a week, and then they made it 2 maps. I could see it going up to 3 or 4 maps, but it seems they don't want this feature.

2:33 yeah that's called early access nothing new, tho most games fail to understand what that is. good to hear that the game is receiving constant updates, I might download to check out the game over the holidays myself while AFKing in Runescape. But I still feel like he is trying to chase his old success and try and invent the wheel another time after already inventing it himself before.

Maybe, who knows, players were expecting a game with gameplay. Advocating being able to afk bs while semi afking osrs is imho not a point that you want to make. Also, we are below 3K peak players, imho trading should be delayed as well, there is not enough player base for trading and mats are available in shops anyway. Hopes high, it really can get there. I still stand to my point being the game was released mb too early, but nonetheless it is in dire need for some pretty massive gameplay improvements and content variety.

I'd love to play it but combat is a make or break for me, The combat where it's at at the moment just isn't it it feels SOOOO BAD But in saying that it is early access so i do skill every now and then in hopes it will get a lot better.

Yeah could do non combat skills which a lot of those are pretty chill, special attacks for combat coming soon probably will make it feel better / more active.

I'm sort of disappointed. I would have hoped Andrew and Paul would have made it so players that paid for a year would be guaranteed a set of hats within a certain time period. After all it is the holidays and some people have less time available to play. I also hope they eventually have player mods. I was among the first group in RuneScape. No, I'm pointing out the absurdity of betting the farm on a game like this, making your whole channel built around it, and then having a very clear incentive to get people to play beyond the fact the game is fun. And here specifically, he's basically suggesting people play as an investment lol. Manufacturing interest this way is not healthy for anyone involved lol. And of course the game isn't finished. But fundamental parts of the game that are in the game already, are already bad.lol. there's nothing in the game that doesn't need to be redone and reworked. The tile system is just nonsensical and doesn't add anything. It'd be a cool like dungeoneering style mode within the game, but as the game? No. The combat is worse than og old school. It lacks any sense of depth nor does it have any room for it.

No, i make videos on the game and play the game because i enjoy it and some other people do too. To put into perspective, you wouldn't walk into a steak restaurant and say to everyone you all suck for eating steak, some people prefer steak...others salad.
