WHY Russia is BRAINDEAD in War Thunder & How to Counter it!

Here is my response to everything. Gaijin is not based in Russia, It is based in Budapest, Hungary. However, a large number of the developers are in Russia. The abrams tank does not have a spall liner and irl abrams tank crews have already said that they lack spall liners. I do not know which aircraft you are referring to where a certain aircraft is given armament that it should not get. The t72 does get thermals, it just depends on the variant and as it stands currently only the t72 av turms and t72b3 are currently the only t72 models that get thermals. While I can not find any picture or video evidence of a t72 av turms, it should still have turms considering it was a modernization package in 2006. The T72b3 we 100% know has thermals because well pictures and Ukraine. The r24r is a great missile, but at that same br, you get the aim 7f, with much greater range. Also no one really takes advantage of data link with the r24r because the missile has a very short range with it only being slightly better than the aim 7e 2. Datalink in war thunder is pretty useless, since players stay notched for quite a while, most do not fly high, and because war thunder radar's require a bit of work because they sometimes do not lock the same target every time. R60's suck, it is just mounted on a platform that is really good and with the warm up no longer a thing, people can fire it much more quickly. Still though, America at the same br gets 4-6 aim 7f's which can be fired at a whopping 45km's with hmd. It also gets one of the best dogfighting jets in the game, the f5e and f8e. It also gets the best multirole aircraft starting all the way back from the p47d and it continues to get really good multirole options all the way to top tier. The americans get the worst f104's because they bought some and decided to never buy more again. America only bought the f104 a,b, & c. Europe were tricked into buying these flying needle coffins costing the lives of several fighter pilots because the f104 was stupidly hard to fly and were plagued with problems. The only reason the f104's were kept in the US military was because the air national guard can mount a nuclear air to air missile to completely vaporize Russian bomber formations. The f104g, the only good f104 in the game were modernized versions of the f104 made by Canada because they, like the rest of Europe were tricked and bribed to buy them. Also the f104 a and c are the best models right now because they don't fight r60m, aim 7e 2, and aim 9 L. The Japanese sherman sits at the same br as the US tech tree one. The US tech tree ones are even better because you get a sherman at 4.7 with a 76mm cannon. Also the only good japanese vehicle until top tier is either American or the ho ri prototype because everything else in this tech tree is pretty shit. No armor, no mobility, long reload, and the shells have mediocre angled armor pen. The only thing that is good about these tanks is that they are unique and because japanese aircraft are extremely maneuverable. The m24 chaffee has the same gun in every tech tree at the same br. The m4a1 (75) the sherman that China gets sits at 4.0 and is surprisingly ok because the turret armor is better, but it sits at 4.0 where it fights the arguably better m4a2 that has apcr and has a better hull because tracked armor plating and really good cas options. America lacks any spaa between 4.0 and 7.7 because America had something call fighter planes and so did not need spaa. Players like me wanted to see the skink in the American tech tree because it is a sherman and it was Canadian, but I agree with gaijin that it should be in the british tech tree because the british lacked good aa at 5.3 considering it came before the south african tech tree was even in the british tech tree. The merkavas are one of the worst mbt's in the game because they lack gun depression, still better than russia though, are massive, slow, and the hull can be easily penetrated by even auto cannons, it is just that you have a massive engine block that absorbs those hits, but there is also the mechanic in the game called fire extinguishers. Russia only gets better thermals at top tier; however, we get thermals starting at 8.3 with the m901 which is still pretty overpowered considering u can stay hidden behind a hill. Russia only starts getting good thermals starting with the bmp 3, but lets just stick with mbt's. It only starts getting good thermals starting with the t72av turms, but that is a premium and anyone can just buy the vehicle, so lets go to the tech tree. It gets good thermals starting with the t90A which is a pretty shit vehicle considering it has a poor reverse gear, 7.1 second reload, and it is still a russian tank with the same weakspots and poor gun depression. All this is coming from a player that plays America, Germany, Russia, Britian, Japan, France, Sweden, and Israel. For several weeks, I grinded through Russia and it was the worst experience in my life. The aircraft are ok and I can manage, but they lacked good cas options until the the su 25, but the tanks are horrible to play with because of the gun depression and slow gun handling requiring me to constantly flick my hull just to shoot. The armor is bad when fighting against germany, great against really bad American players because of the clickbait. Even right now as I grind through America, America is one of the best tech trees because of American cas options. Edit: I decided to come back to this because after rewatching it I forgot to about the AIM 9L and why you start to see it at 12.0 for the fighters instead of at 11.0 with the mig 23m. Simply because the aim 9L is extremely broken used in the right hands. Below 1.2km it is practically unflareable. It also has a max 2.5km range if you and the person are going after is flying mach 1 on the deck and they are mounted on platforms that are stupidly maneuverable, insane engines performance (outside of the f14a in a sustained dogfight), and have pretty good radar missiles. Also the US military reserved the aim 9L for their newer fighters, so the f4 phantoms never got an aim 9L outside of their export versions because these countries that bought them lacked funding to build a fighter of their own, so they had to upgrade and maintain their fleets of aging f4 phantoms with modern technology. Which is why you end up with the f4ej kai with an f16 radar with aim 9L and in real life would also be carrying the aim 120 and aam 3 missiles. Also the aim 120a in the test place were not marginally better than the r77, the r77 was marginally better than the aim 120 a, but the issue is that the test place had issues where the missiles would completely miss their targets at long range, so it was difficult to test these missiles accurately, but generally as long as you are not running the pl 12, you would be getting so many kills at short ranges with these because they turn like hell. I shot an aim 120 against a maneuvering target at 1km off boar from rear aspect and no matter the amount of chaff he dispensed, the missile tracked him pulling 40 degrees of aoa and into his tail pipe blowing him out of the air. That is how insane these missiles are and trivializing that shows how you are pretty shit at the game. Oh wait, don't even need to do that because your gameplay in the background shows everything because who uses an m18 like that. Spawn on the other spawn and flank with it. Its mobile, has a good gun, but has no armor, so why are you putting it in direct combat when armor is more important. Also yes, the United States does not get their best vehicles at least in ground because Russia has the t90m and Germany has leopard 2a7, but why is America stuck at sep v2. For one thing sep v3 immediately after sep v2 is crazy give the modelers a break for the love of god and America is in a position where it does not need it. It just needs a better shell and it would be perfectly fine. Your win rates did not tank, you are losing more games because you are in the lobby. To put it in perspective, he is a level 71 and grinded the entire tech tree skipping multiple vehicles by buying and grinding with the F4S. His best vehicle is an F4S and how I know it because I looked at his player card. Use streamer mode next time if you don't want to get caught. Anyways, based on his player card I assume has only gotten the game for a month now meaning he still heavily lacks experience and it shows in his gameplay.

Mr based comment dude how do I improve in this game. I'm talking strategy since I'm still stuck in the world of tanks mind where I simply rush out and rely on armour and HP which doesn't work in this game. I'm a Russian main (level 11) and all my premiums are low tier(the highest is the premium t-34-57) but these days I'm spending my time in the P-40-E-1 in the Russian tech tree because it's a fun plane. Your help is really appreciated

"abrams didnt get its spall liner" it doesnt have it. T80B as it exists in the game should have thermals, its a BV upgrade like present on many other vehicles, Russian missiles are good, balanced by the fact that their planes are total bricks at top tier.
