This show has such an accurate portrayal of siblings, the banter and the sacrifices.But what I love the most is that they make Sam such an accurate little sibling, the mistakes and the wanting to do good and make the older one proud.And Dean, being the older sibling sworn to protect the little one to the point of death. And how they deal with their trauma separately, their father was a dick and it created a rift between the two yet they managed to solve it and move on.And I just think about how well written they are, and how such good actors Jensen and Jared are

But it all started after rewatching the show, i used to look at everything from Dean's prespective i am not sure why but i begin to pay more attention to Sam and all of a sudden he is my favourite. That last scene was all the more heart wrenching when you know the backstory: For whatever reason Jared could not play the scene with the emotions and strong acting like he usually did. And the more he tried the more frustrated and anxious he got. He even said he walked off set to pace the location parking lot and read to read over his script. And Jensen said nothing he could do was bringing Jared back to his baseline. But, finally when Jared got back to act his part, Jensen said, the hug they shared was more Jensen hugging Jared than Dean huging Sam

I get why western people tend to ship both of them even though they are brothers. After reading so many posts on reddit and online about how horrible families and siblings are, I get it. I understand that family bonds doesn't mean much here. Since they don't see such bond and love between siblings here, they think they are gay. But I've siblings like that. I've relationship like this with few of my friends. I'd do anything in my power for them. That kinda of bond and love is natural when you grow up together and spend so much time together. That doesn't mean there had to be a physical attraction. I find it extremely weird that people ship them together especially when we know Sam is straight and well they are brothers. I know they are fictional characters but it still weirds me out.
