@Dave D "Truck" is a commonly used and accepted word for 4WD utilities vs the 2 wheel drive variants like Commodores and Falcons etc.
@titaniumquarrion98385 жыл бұрын
@Dave D Funny I am Australian and I refer to them as trucks as do my mates. Perhaps you don't speak for all Australian TRUCK owners like you think you do? Maybe I am not as much of a man as you though? I guess by your logic the "manly" things I have done in my life have been null and voided by my calling "utes" "TRUCKS". It also appears you are country folk and once again according to your logic the only real men live in the country and city dwelling males (even the blue collar workers, military, police , fire fighters and ambos etc) are actually sheilas. Ahh well I guess I can live with not being as manly as you mate as long as my diesel truck still goes alright. :-)
@titaniumquarrion98385 жыл бұрын
@Dave D Truck - noun any of various forms of vehicle for carrying goods and materials, usually consisting of a single self-propelled unit but also often composed of a trailer vehicle hauled by a tractor unit. any of various wheeled frames used for transporting heavy objects. Your 4WD ute vs Kenworth example is ridiculous. It's a slang term that real Aussies use. I can absolutely guarantee you eat, watch, say, listen to, wear and drive things that didn't originate in Australia. Get off ya high horse. Are you gonna go whine that the likes of the All4 Adventure lads Jase and Simon refer to their rifles as "guns" as well? Fuck me swinging if they don't also refer to their 4WD utilities as TRUCKS too. I guess they aren't real Aussies or real men and are contributing to the loss of our culture as well? I also guess my growing up in a community on the Cape - driving, boating, hunting, shooting and fishing with the locals and being a veteran don't equate to being "manly" or a true blue Australian in your expert opinion because I now live "in the city" and use my TRUCK for recreation not work.. Run along and go cry somewhere else about your imagined loss of our culture due to American slang being used. No one is impressed with your holier than though attempt at playing cultural gate keeper on YT.

@Dave D Aww I am so disappointed... IS thatthe best you can do? C'mon Truck Master I know you can do better than that. Have a good hard think about it and get back to me. Here I'll show you how it; done mate: I can see you now, pot belly, pasty skin except for your sunburned right spaghetti arm, weathered from many long haul jobs on the black river, dreaming about the meat pie, large sausage roll and 600ml chocolate milk and hit of meth you are gonna knock off for breakfast before getting into someone else's truck as you can't afford your own let alone a business, for you are the Road Warrior, driver of Kenworths and destroyer of city boys utilities!!! See - It's not hard China - have a crack. I can hack it.

@Dave D Here's another kzbin.info/www/bejne/i3a0ZXusftOSZs0 Hmm seems you are the sad minority and truly the last bastion of cultural heritage as it relates tot he Ozzie utility not be ing a truck! C'mon mate get on board with the Oz 4WD community. I tell you what just sneak outside and under your breath, while looking at yoru ute, say "Fuck what an awesome truck" It'll be a weight off your shoulders and you can get on with your life :-) I wouldn't want to call my Truck a Ute anyway - I mean only chicks have uterus's right? Do you wanna drive around in a uterus? Especially when it starts shedding it's lining and bleeding all over the place.

transmod.com.au can help you with cert in QLD
@KingOath5 жыл бұрын
You’d be surprised what can be done legally, it’s not always simple to get it certified but it can be done. In QLD there’s a modification category called “extensive” modifications which goes beyond the normal blue plate modification rules. TMR doesn’t give much insight to the category but it’s basically a process of applying for prior approval from TMR then working with an approved engineer. Basically as long as the car still complies with the relevant ADR’s and it can be deemed/proven “safe” by your engineer, you can virtually do whatever you want...

You didn't answer the question!! Yeah it's a good truck and obviously capable, but so would a Mahindra be with that much spent on it. Up until the MK the Triton were a good ute, but since the ML they've been left behind. Poor engines, very agricultural interior, ugly egg shell shape.....
