I love all of your videos Lori. I think you should go with the flow re: Time with Tata as the Easter video was especially sweet and really beautiful. I can imagine how busy you are going to be this summer! but it's going to be so exciting for all of you. The home renovations project sounds great. I get a lot of sales when an item hits the red zone (last 24 hours). Items, "ending soon," is pushed by eBay. I have items I am watching as a buyer. I get several notifications that says, "your watched item ends in 4 hours." So....I let my listings end before doing an end listing/sell similar. I will say that I have an Ebay store and get 10,000 free listings per month so I don't pay the .30 re-listing fee.

I was recently in EBay jail! I wasn't engaging or updating very often and so I didn't have a sale for a month. The strategy to get out of jail aka- *have your listings appear in search again* is to post a minimum of 5 items per day. I've been doing that and I've finally made a couple of great vintage sales this week. So much to know! I don't love eBay but I definitely see the value in their audience. (April was a lower sales month for me as well).

My April was my lowest sales month in the past year. I haven't tried eBay yet but I have had luck with taking some brands to local consignment shops, sometimes making more selling locally even though they take 60%.

On Ebay, if you click sell similar instead of relist after you end an item, Ebay will view it as a new listing instead of just a relisted one. It will also give you the options to keep the pictures :)

I've recently just started to list on eBay, but I've been dealing with a lot of buyers (scammers) buying my items and not pay for them! Not as straight forward as Poshmark but hoping to learn the system as I keep using it.

Do you have any reviews? Scammers on ebay target people with 0 or lower reviews unfortunately. One thing you can do is buy a few things and ask the seller to review you so at least you'll not have a 0 for reviews

When selling on ebay, I recommend to start building your feedback reviews by buying things, like your shipping supplies, etc. and selling things as quickly as you can to build feedback, in the beginning go lower than you want on items if you can afford to get the sales. The reason? If you have less than 100 feedback the scammers & non-payers will tend to take advantage. Just do Buy It Now and no auctions until you hit 100...that way you don't deal with non-payers. Take lots of photos of every angle, do not sell anything with flaws and if you do put flaw in your title, in condition and in the description and take photos of the flaw with something pointing to it, a pen or piece of tape next to it. Include a TY message (I use a TY sticker that I buy in bulk in with your packages). good luck!

There is an option under Preferences that you can turn on within the listing, it requires the buyer to pay immediately, make sure you tap that one. Good luck!!

I really enjoy your videos. I'm originally from Maine, so I was excited to hear Rocko will be going to UMO. My oldest brother went there at the same time Stephen King was there. It's a great school, but not much happening in Old Town or Orono, so I hope he'll find things to do. It will help that he has a good friend as a roommate.

Hi Lori, you're a beautiful woman, but as beautiful as you are I for one am sitting here listing as I listen, my eyes are mainly on the screen cropping photos, researching items, creating listings, etc. And my you tube screen is about 1/4 of my screen so pretty small. If you are showing things if I am interested I will glance over. If its super interesting like a tag I want to see I might even stop the video, back it up and watch it and freeze it - but that is rare. I don't think ever once I noticed if you even wore nail polish or not LOL. You voice is very lovely to listen to, not too loud, or soft or whiney. You are calm, fairly organized about what you are covering, very smart, and in tune with the fashion (which I am certainly NOT). I'm not all that interested in your you tube channel history or development because I'm not planning ever to do that myself...mainly just wanting nuggets of info on what is happening now in our venue (what is going on with Mercari, ebay - glitches - sales - good new - issues) and what tidbits of info I can gleam on shipping, brands, tips tricks, etc. So don't let you nail polish hold you back. You go girl.

I hate depop! It's the hardest platform to figure out and I didn't get my first payout for 2 months. It's super hard to contact someone in real life. I sent an email twice and go the same formatted response that didn't answer my question. Also, I'm not getting my sale, message, offer notifications on my phone even though I have them all on. I have to go in and check throughout the day. It's really an awful platform but I can list for free so I'll stay on it.
