Why Shake Shack is testing a 4-day work week

I work 4 days a week and its nice having 3 days off instead of 2.

4 days seems reasonable ,while the 5-6 day is good for business but if workers aren't working to there capability well the business will be hindered and also makes workers satisfied to be well rested for them and makes workers stay longer and stronger working people.

A four-day work we with an hourly rate is just cutting someones pay. Talk to us when your employees are salaried and you give them a 4 day work week.

A four day work week means four ten hour days versus five eight hour days, so hours aren’t being cut.

I don’t understand the work week change but my first job was at Shake Shack and while it was tough, they paid well ($11.50/hr) and offered tons of great benefit plans.

When you realize you only have so much time on this planet, people start to value it more and are more selective with who they work for so they can get either A. Get paid more for the same hours you mentioned to have really great off time or B. Find people will who accommodate their lifestyle with less pay. Most millennials would do anything for more time and taking a pay cut for mental health sake.

@@infini.tesimo Of course it's a subjective matter. I don't find 5 days a week being that much (if you work not more than 40 hours). Lots of other people work more than that. What I would value more is flexibility. If you could choose what days of the week to work and what time of the day + holidays + bank holidays will result in plenty amount of time to do something with your life other than just work and rest. My opinion

I hope your food don't taste like McDonald's or Burger King because I don't know if it's just me or not but all the food and fast food restaurants nowadays don't taste the same seems like everything is nasty nowadays taste fake when you bite your hamburger are you a chicken sandwich you might bite something hard that will brake yo tooth everything from fast food now days taste nasty fast food is not the same when I was growing up and i am just in my 30s

I don't think yall know this company. They are like Amazon or McDonald's. They work you like a dog. I did 1000 orders in 1 day. My first day. They said they would give me Sunday for church off. Never did.
