sometimes even when hunting for a shiny is easy you still might get really unlucky or go way over odds and eventually you feel like giving up

idk what it is, but it feels like Machoke's shiny pops a lot more in LGPE than other games.

I was referring to the fact that I found 4 shiny Pokémon without even doing a shiny hunting method in about an hour at the beginning of the video lol. I will say the bad luck I got with the kadabra and the machop contradicts the title a bit but that’s just it, I got really unlucky with those. Had I even gotten average luck with those shinies I would’ve gotten them very quickly

About the future Exeggcute hunt, Exeggutor can be hunted in Let's Go!! It spawns in the same route as Exeggcute and if you catch combo for it the non shiny ones can be helpful for a future alolan Exeggutor trade hunt

When it comes to trade evolutions you can trade with a friend and have them cancel the evolution and trade it back to you so it can evolve on screen

You’ve never been able to cancel trade evolutions. The only way to prevent trade evolutions from evolving is by having them hold an everstone which do not exist in let’s go. However you can never prevent kadabra from evolving upon trading in gen 4 and onward

I had a +31 geodude combo, at least 900 resets no shinnies at all

You have to keep your combo going! If you just get a 31 combo then don’t keep catching, you get the unboosted shiny rates for the spawns! (Max odds would be 1/1024 with shiny charm plus lure!)

I don’t agree with it being “too easy”. Too easy is Arceus and S/V. You just have insane luck. It’s easier than previous gen games, but definitely not “too easy”

I do agree I think shinies are by far the easiest in SV and even legends they become very easy with outbreaks. But honestly any game where they show up shiny in the overworld and you don’t have to encounter them to see if they’re shiny, overall makes them kinda easy

I would recommend trying to just route reset for pidgey as even with the lower shiny chance, you’ll probably hit odds quicker with how much pidgey spawns

I found 3 bulbasaur, first one I was using the correct catch combo method which I believe to be the best for bulbasaur. The other two I was running away from them and it took forever. I also got 9 shiny caterpie while going for them lol

I spent 5 hours combo'ing for a Shiny pidgey. Got up to 260 combo, also spent a lot of time walking in and out of routes... I ended up quitting, didn't get the shiny but did max out a pidgeot

your 500 chain ain't that unlucky I went 1095 exactly squirtles with a shiny at all no shiny until a combo of 999 but I could see I had caught 1095 in the number caught screen

I actually have failed a few shinies in this game lol. But mainly because they were dupe shinies and I wasn’t trying. Only one shiny I failed I needed and it was a magikarp that spawned in and I didn’t see but by the time I saw it, it despawned right away

It's the gimmick of 31 combo that sucks, those super rare streaks suck. Rest is ok. I'd say 130 shiny are easy, rest are bonkers

If your a fan of Pokémon go, Kanto and just average Pokémon Games like sword and shield I would suggest it (also it helps you a lot in Pokémon go because you get meltan boxes from it)

Shiny Pokémon are pointless now that they’re so common I played all games and it was over ten years before I saw my first shiny (red gyarados) doesn’t count and now in the new games three play throughs and 4 shinys
