Abraham had Isaac, Isaac had Jacob, Jacob became Israel after wrestling with the angel, had 12 sons (including Joseph and Levi). 400 years after Jacob and his sons (+ families) moved to Egypt, Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt and into the desert where the levitical priesthood started. There was no levitical priesthood at the time of Abraham.

Other possible Christopanies: Genesis 18:1-8 Abraham Genesis 32:24-30 - Jacob Joshua 5:13-15 - Joshua Daniel 3:24-26 - Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego (note that the King doesn't call the fourth man out) It is important to note that Jesus is eternal, with no beginning. He was able to appear before His birth because He is outside of time.

He and Jesus both Followed the forgiving, loving Cannonite God El Elyon, not the vengeful virgin eatting, unforgiving, god of storms, blood lusting Yahweh. When you go back to the original text and take into account that in Cannonite theology, Yahweh was one of El Elyon's 70 sons, of whom he divides the nations among in Deuteronomy 32, and whom cast judgment upon the elohim in psalms 82 I wish i was making this up. It really through my beliefs in the air. But again Jesus and Melchizedek are the key, Jesus came to return us to the Father El Elyon. Just google it, you'll see. The word says he is like melchizedek, operating under the order of Melchizedek. He was an actual historical figure, that Abraham tithed to because of the priesthood that he operated under (seperate from the levitical priesthood, which Jesus also did operate under, due to not being a Levite). It’s a chosen priesthood through gods election, and not handed down via bloodline. Jesus is 100% the eternal Son of God and YOU & I are gods children through adoption, not Jesus. Honestly that is going in the direction of heresy tbh

The Bible is clear that Melchizedek had no father or mother and that Jesus is God’s only son so that clearly shows that Jesus is God’s son by adoption and it shows in the mannerisms of Jesus how he always thought to please the Father just as a child, especially an adopted one, seeks approval from their father.

Shem, Noah's son was 98 at the time of the great flood and lived 600 years total...Abraham showed up 400ish years after the great flood...in the book of Jasher, Melchizedek is recorder as "Adonizedek king of Jerusalem", and follows immediately with "the same was Shem"...Biblically speaking the timing for Melchizedek being Shem, Noah's son is perfect...plus having the proximity to God that Shem would've had having come through the great flood would've placed Shem in a special position of priesthood with God...
