Finally, someone else brings up the argument that science is always changing! I absolutely hate when people put their faith into science, considering that fact.
@Haunting_Shadow2 жыл бұрын
@Sven Andersson I didn't say that you can't or shouldn't trust science. I mean that people shouldn't put their faith into it and completely trust it because science isn't static, it's constantly changing, as the pastor in the video explained. There are people that will swear by science, but that in itself is blind faith, considering the Bible's historical evidence, and comparing that to the fact that the science books end up becoming irrelevant throughout years.

@Sven Andersson Did you watch or listen to this sermon? He explains the historical accuracy of the bible. Are the dead sea scrolls not evidence? Have you ever read revelations? There is a lot going on right now that's actually no mentioned in Revelations, but even the book of Isaiah.

@@Haunting_Shadow if we are going to be accurate the book is Revelation.

Hi! I love listening to your worship music, will you guys start to upload the worship music from the live services?
@redrockschurchYT2 жыл бұрын
Hi Kass! Thank you for reaching out to us! Our Red Rocks Worship team has a KZbin channel of their own that has all our worship on there. It may or may not be from the live services, but still very impactful!

I've accepted that God's words and commands are in the bible, but so are many men's deceitful words and stories. We need Jesus and the holy spirit to find the actual words and commands in the bible.

I never felt that the word wasn't true but ill admit, I've worried that things may have been lost in translation. The bible wasn't written in English originally so I wonder while translating it to English, if things, at all, were lost in translation?

Thanks for asking such a great question! Translations from the original greek and hebrew have been translated as closely as possible. As with many languages, there may or may not always be an exact word for word translation, but it is definitely as close as it can be. Something that is great to do in your own time in God's Word is to look up something in the Greek/Hebrew when it speaks to you or you have more questions. Really helps to deepen our understanding of scripture!

@@redrockschurchYT Men who translated the Bible were specially picked to translate and the translations went through several processes. I studied the translation process for the KJV1611. I found through other later translations many errors leaving out key verses or changing words. Words have meanings and God said it and I believe it.
