English has definitely shaped the way I think and see the world. Having a solid knowledge of English opens up many opportunities for me, and I'm still working on speaking it fluently, smoothly, and confidently. Learning another language may be difficult but I'm a smart guy absorbing any information I want. Believe me, language learning is truly rewarding, fun, and, of course, challenging, but it's all worth it. Changes our lives, it really does. I'm bilingual, a speaker of English and Spanish, and soon learning Italian. 😊❤

That's amazing! 😊 It's clear that you're incredibly dedicated to learning languages, and it's inspiring to see how English has already shaped your worldview and opened new doors for you. You're absolutely right-language learning can be challenging, but it’s so rewarding and fun in the long run. Being bilingual already, with English and Spanish, and adding Italian soon is impressive! Keep up the fantastic work, and enjoy the journey! ❤🎉

The most fun when I'm learning new languages is when I understand the meaning of the word that comes in text, or movies, or music, or other

I think the hardest part of learning a new language is improving my speaking skills because I have no one around me to practice with. Also there are many opportunities that learning English has given me. One of them is understanding English research. Some of the fun ways to learn a language are by understanding movies and tourists. eheheh

I think it depends of what language are you learning, cause it is not the same to learn english and french, The most hard part of learning english is to remember words, grammar rules and speaking fluently... but with french it would be the pronunciation, grammar, remembering etc. For me it's much easier to learn english than french :)

Hey, it's kind of interesting to start a journey with another language beside native ones lol. I'm from Vietnam and I'm improving my English level to intermediate, and honestly I've had some memorable experiences when I find out more about the way English speakers think and say. Besides, languages also provide us an incredible accent, like French :)

Gwen: All right, Leo, let’s talk about how important language really is. Гвен: Жарайды, Лео, тілдің қаншалықты маңызды екені туралы сөйлесейік. Leo: Yes, Gwen, language is the key to communication. It’s how we share ideas, feelings, and information with each other. Лео: Иә, Гвен, тіл - бұл қарым-қатынастың кілті. Бұл біз идеяларымызды, сезімдерімізді және ақпаратты бөлісетін жол. Gwen: That’s right. Without language, we wouldn’t be able to understand each other. Imagine trying to explain something important without words. Гвен: Дәл солай. Тілсіз біз бір-бірімізді түсіне алмас едік. Сөздерсіз маңызды нәрсені түсіндіруге тырысып жатқанымызды елестетіп көріңіз. Leo: And it’s not just about words. Language also shapes how we think and see the world. Лео: Бұл тек сөздерге ғана қатысты емес. Тіл біздің ойлауымыз бен әлемді көруімізді қалыптастырады. Gwen: Yes, I’ve read about that. There’s even a famous study by Professor Ira Boritzki from Stanford University. She found that people who speak different languages actually think differently. Гвен: Иә, мен бұл туралы оқыдым. Тіпті Стэнфорд университетінің профессоры Айра Борицкидің атақты зерттеуі бар. Ол әртүрлі тілде сөйлейтін адамдардың шынымен басқаша ойлайтынын анықтаған. Leo: That’s why learning a new language can help you see the world in new ways. Лео: Сондықтан жаңа тілді үйрену әлемді жаңа қырынан көруге көмектеседі. Gwen: But it’s more than just communication. Language is also a big part of cultural identity. Гвен: Бірақ бұл тек қарым-қатынас қана емес. Тіл - мәдени бірегейліктің үлкен бөлігі. Leo: Yes, language connects us to our culture and history. It helps preserve traditions and stories that have been passed down for generations. Лео: Иә, тіл бізді мәдениетімізбен және тарихымызбен байланыстырады. Ол ұрпақтан-ұрпаққа беріліп келе жатқан дәстүрлер мен әңгімелерді сақтауға көмектеседі. Gwen: For example, did you know that many old languages are disappearing? Гвен: Мысалы, сіз білесіз бе, көптеген ескі тілдер жойылып бара жатыр? Leo: Yes, it’s a serious issue. According to UNESCO, almost 40% of the world’s languages are at risk of disappearing. Лео: Иә, бұл өте маңызды мәселе. ЮНЕСКО-ның мәліметінше, әлем тілдерінің шамамен 40%-ы жойылу қаупінде тұр. Gwen: That’s why preserving these languages is so important. Гвен: Сондықтан бұл тілдерді сақтау өте маңызды.
